Not sure if this has been covered, but when Im fishing and I've cought a monster the music is different. So why then reel it in just hit ESC and move to the next right. Am I missing something here?

Well hopefully Ill get a response with this one. Now when you get the three !!! and the music changes is it posable that that is a big fish (NM) or a monster or is it just a monster.

One ! is always a small fish. Three !!! and the different music can be either a monster or a big fish. Personally, I let go all !!! I get when I know that the big fish I could hook have no use for me.
Also, another thing I've found is that you're more likely to have a monster on your line if you're getting the !!! and it tells you "good feeling" or the like. The "bad feeling" "terrible feeling" and "you're positive you don't have skill" are never monsters, but only big fish. Monsters also seem to lose stamina faster than fish, but that's kinda a judgement call sort of thing.
Oh yeah, and you can hook monsters when you're on the stairs on the ferry now too, so don't think that will keep them away.

One other thing. If you have a !!! on your line with the different music, you can deplete a little bit of life from their lifebar then stop doing anything. If the lifebar slowly starts to refill, it's a fish. If it stays still or keeps slowly going down, it's a monster. But usually it's just as easy to tell from how fast the bar goes down and from your message.
