Anyone have any Tips on the new Fishing System (i.e. how do I do it).

You fish as u did normally before, but now your rod leans to a side, you must push your character in the opposite direction. So if the rod goes left u hold right, if it goes right u holdleft. Now If your rod is in the middle you either hold forward or backward to stop the fish from regaining HP( i cant remember which). If you let ur rod go into the same direction as the fish it will regain HP. It is best to reel in your catch when the fish has no HP. But be aware it may change directions right as your hit to reel it in. If it does this you may lose your catch.

Do you know of a way to break the rods easily? I'm skilling up off broken rods and there are almost never any in the AH.

Take the regular fishing rods (not the ones that are to catch big fish) on the Selbina-Mhaura Boat and fish with a minnow. You'll break quite a few. I learned that the hard way. ^^

meatballs are another good thing to fish with to break a rod, they're only about 500 a stack.

I'm pretty sure you don't have to do push any direction when the rod is in the center however I may be mistaken.

As for the breaking rods I would just grab some meatballs and head off to the ferry. Just pull up the fish before the stamina is empty. Breaking rods is painfully slow except when you don't want them to break. :lol:
