Flame against myself!

Ok so I was recently soloing an NM in Beaudeux , and I was sleep nuking it in a passageway just fine for a good half hour. No problems whatsoever. Smooth sailing. THEN when there is 5% hp left, I put DoT's on it with gravity to finish it off quickly with a few nukes. But I ran out of room, and had to run past it. I cast bind and attempted to run by. I needed ONE MORE NUKE to kill it, and yet when I crossed by it gravity and bind both wore off. It came after me and obliterated me. So here's a flame to my stupidity! DON'T BE SO RECKLESS!

Anyway I shut off FFXI till tomorrow when I could get a raise, but I was so angry I had to let someone know. You can feel free to share your NM blunders too if you want ^^

possibly the funniest thing I've read so far today, sans lucki's starwars pic.

that does suck though, reminds me of ruby quadav and him resisting somewhat as he got lower, the problem probrably came from swapping to nuke set then casting Gravity since he freed himself and came after you. Sucks to hear that but I was looking for a testimony on soloing the ring nm down there as well as the other.

Yeah, its not over 'toll the fat lady sings. NEVER get reckless and think "Let's kill it ASAP! NUKE!" or w/e, as that's how mistakes happen. If you've done something for the last 95%, odds are you'll be able to do it for another 5%.
