All right, Time for my post.
Ok, so this happened on Sunday night.
So I’m kind of fucking around Rabao or some place like that when my NIN friend tells me that he’s got a party starting up and that so far he has a SMN/WHM RDM and BLM, so I think: “Cool, I can make the 15k and finally make LVL 60 tonight.” So off to Rabao sub BLM and warp away. Get to Jeuno, Euforik invites me get ready to exp.
As I step out of my house, I notice a name on the party list, Deucrobont. This was my second experience with him in an Exp party. The previous night I was in a party with him and he managed to leave a bad impression on me. Two things struck me in that party: 1st He had sneak wearing and he decided to recast in range of an Air Elemental in Kuftal; and 2nd Was that this Elemental cast two spells on him, first gravity (heh guess I learned that spell is wind based because of him) then silence. Now my gripe here is how he handled the situation. He aggroes one of the toughest mobs in the area, then wants us to rescue him, and after he cries for a silena. If you have read the thread:
Just a couple tips for all the retard melee classes you know that everyone NEEDS (emphasis on need) oil and powder or tonko even if they are mages, and that all mages should keep a minimum of a stack of echo drops as well. Anyway, he lives to Teriggan so that's cool. We get to the Valley at which point I d/c and don’t bother going back, decided to catch early sleep.
So back on Sunday, I mention this to Euforik but he tells me no other red mages are seeking, and bards are a pain in the butt to even see online which I prefer anyway when I pair up with a NIN. So I go along to the AH to do my business while we find our sixth member, that when I see Svina afk and the right level, so I shoot a tell at him hoping he might come back before we leave. The BLM told us he was leaving to go help out a friend with his paper, cool I’m up to help out friends. This is when we pick up Swamps, the BLM/SMN. I was kinda half looking for people and half browsing here and I saw Kea’s name so I’m like cool she’s RNG60 which would really kill in our setup, and I search her up in the game and invite her. I was suggesting a friend RDM (Svina, well I don’t know him much but I consider people here as friends) I would like to have in the party but the BLM dismisses it and we are off.
On the way to the Valley the BLM is insisting that we setup an AM burst which me and the NIN agree is not in the best interest to waste MP like that and since I semi-static with him we usually like to open fights with a SC where I close with SATA VB to slap a ton of hate onto him. But this guy insisted on AM every fight. Am I wrong here or don’t BLM get sick of the novelty of those spells around 53 and start using something with a better damage/mp ratio. But know he insisted that he had more than enough MP to get chain 5. The problem is that he nuked pretty hard and the NIN had to go from +2 to +6 enmity which made SATAing him harder since the mob wouldn’t turn to the RNG, so my dmg is nerfed and the NIN is losing out on hate from me. When we get to camp and are waiting for one of the member who went to the beach entrance by accident to come to the north one, this is when I learn the RDM doesn’t have Dia 2 and suggests using Bio 2 instead. I mean with a NIN tank Bio 2 is not as helpful as it is with a paladin. With Dia 2 the raptors don't con high defense to me so there is a big difference in average damage when you go from high def to regular def. This is when Svina came back and telled me. I wanted to exp with his RDM but the two (RDM and BLM) in my party seemed to be getting friendly to each other, that if I kicked the RDM the BLM would leave.
Anyway I tell Svina that I’d try out the party first. After about 15 minutes I’m noting we’re having trouble so I call Svina in, and get on a hunt for BLM, and find this nice japanese player (I forget the name, damn my memory).While I was co-ordinating this whole thing I was in crazy /tell mode and missed a few easy SATAs ><. So while we all take a break Svina reaches us and when we come back, I kick the BLM and RDM and invite him. I had not discussed this in party chat, and this act really pissed them royally off. Kea witnessed this and was disgusted with my behaviour and left. Anyway we found a DRG and exped for a while, was about as good as the party with the initial 3 members.
Anyway when this happened I started this thread, I knew I had done something wrong, but not in a state to write correctly. Anyway I acted in a very childish way, and felt like shit the rest of the evening. Now, in writing this post, I feel awful. Anyway, I apologise to the 3 involved, I am sorry for what I have done, I have managed things incorrectly(Sorry I rarely lead, THF is my 1st job passed 30).
So flame away, I deserve it for that.
P.S. Oh and even worse, that night after this happened a good friend of mine and THF I look up to told me he was quitting and giving out his items that night.
