I think the difference is some people do it in secret hidden from even their own linkshells. Whereas other linkshell leaders openly tell all of their members to use bots.

It speaks to the integrity of the shell.
 
It's just that these threads are getting tiresome. Nothing can be done to prevent them from botting and everyone already seems to know that they bot so theres no point. It's just so....pointless.

And can a mod change the title? Flame of the year is so misleading. Change to something like "huy geyz moar botz n endgam"

Despite a majority's apathetic attitude toward whether or not botting occurs @ kings, it nice to feel vindicated in knowing that suspicions are true. It is a topic that is a dead horse for most LS' and servers, but that doesn't mean it doesn't matter or has no basis for being posted.

AFAIK a majority of the bigger HNMLS besides WGC all openly frown upon botting or those types of 3rd party tools. There is also no real animosity that results in constant heckling or MPK attempts that have become increasingly common among. Prior to WGC's inception, those sorts of things were rather rare or limited to very specific shells or individuals. I would contend that there is a relatively low amount of botting that goes on compared to such servers as Hades or Unicorn. Its actually quite comparatively clean and could be much worse. While I don't think ignoring it would be akin to fostering the broken window syndrome, I do agree with Tyrath in that to see WGC openly condone it and encourage it really speaks for the integrity of that shell.

wipetoofast, and the leaders of that shell (the posters) are from the united arab emirates. apparently the shell is full of arabic spam all the time.

nothing against the UAE, just a valid excuse for their grammar

ITT: People saying this shit is so old, yet they have no idea the scale of problem for people who actually camp HNM and participate in this part of endgame. That means you Myrrh.
 
Actually, I know full well of how big of a problem this is for endgame ls. But bitchin about some failure of a LS on this site won't do anything. If this was made to stop people from joining the LS then the Op doesn't know shit. As from the MANY MANY MANY MANY LS flames telling people to stay clear from shady and bad ls yet still don't work because people want what people want. Nothing anyone says or does will stop new or old players from joining bad LS.

But hey, if you want to think some dumbfuck drama deserves the title "flame of the year" then have it. Enjoy your "epic" drama. I'll be over here with my YY(see what I did there?)
 
I'm sure other endgame LS use bot as well, just gonna fight fire with fire lol

have all your LS counter bot them, and see which script is faster :P
