First off, regardless of if he was correct or not, his behavior and attitude in his posts was rude and unacceptable. He stopped being civil to other people and was full of contradictory logic, which is why people jumped on him. Then he started this thread and just continued to insult people and not accept any responsibility, what reason has he given to make me like him?

Second, no one believed he could magically turn 1 million into 50 million. If you read the posts like you're point out for everyone else to do, you'd notice that only he said he was going to do that and everyone know that it wouldn't happen.

Sorry, but based on the fact that you just joined today, and are just regurgitating the same old stuff that thinkkaman did; I'm having a hard time thinking that you're not either a sock puppet or just someone sympathetic friend that's blindly defending him.

I was talking about gardening. You remember me talking about some guy giving me the URL to a site which shows all sorts of gardening tips? Oh wait, you never read my posts, so I guess not.

As and addendum, if he had just dropped it like people kept telling him, it wouldn't "have gotten stupid" and people wouldn't have reason to dislike him. Blaming other people for his shortcomings and his instigating people to not like him is not a way to defend anyone.
 
I'm gonna tell ya right now, I grow wind ores. There have been times I've gotten 9 in one harvest. There have been times I've gotten nothing but tea leaves and earth crystals. The MOST I've ever made is about 4 mil off a harvest.

He's full of shit if he can make 50 mil in a month.

i read your post, and i know that the people that garden ore's are very FOCUSED on growing. they didn't just start doing it, and they have a lot of time to invest in it. you can't just buy some cuttings and expect them to churn out ore's for you. then you have the bazing time of selling them. they also take what a month to grow? there is no get rich quick sceem i'm sorry not in this game. you have to work for everything.

Well, if he has overwhelming wind energy, and has multiple gardening mules, then he might. However, 1 mil will only buy 4 stacks of saplings the last time I checked, so that'd be 48 chances at ore, so with 5 mules, he'd have a chance at maybe 20 mil max from harvesting all of them in that period. Yep, can't be done.
 
Dunno, Junefly mentiones some things that meanwhile most can agree on, so it's not exactly new content. It's just that with each person there are different interpretations on how this contest should have been done. Naturally everyone is entitled to their opinion, it gets tricky if one tries to convince someone else.

I did a test last night. I printed out the entire first post, the one with the riddle, and then on a new sheet of paper I printed out Thnikk's original answer. Then I gave the printouts to three different people and asked the following question: Is the answer correct?

Here are the answers to that question:
1. Not really.
2. Almost.
3. Somewhat correct.

I did not get one of the three to say "yes". Of course this doesn't mean anything at all, it's just three people, but it's three unbiased people who didn't know about QCDN, MMOs, or my involvement. Anyone can easily repeat this quick test. I would be curious to hear results.

I maintain that Thnikk's original answer is only partically correct, as I have demonstrated in my post where I numbered the lines. Because of that I don't feel bad for him not getting the cash. I did offer to split the purse, which he declined, so I don't feel bad about it either. And after he repeatedly insulted Sabia for no reason at all, I am actually glad that he didn't get any cash.

Why didn't I split the purse? I won it. I might have split it with you, but that's not the point. I won it. I didn't repeatedly insult Sabia. I think I said one thing about or to her. After that I decided not to because she doesn't really have a lot to do with this. She's the only real winner in this. She didn't do squat and bam there she is 1mil.
 
Oh and by the way, what ever happened to the little bar that shows all the different boards, so I can quickely check all of them? It's gone. Now I got to go to the top of the page to get to them. Not a big problem, but why'd you get rid of it?

It's not a real issue, concerves a bit of bandwidth to not have it on, but I'll put it back, no problem.

Actually, you didn't. Based on Sculli's blind test at best you deserved half of it, and it was Moch's decision to award partial credit, which he didn't.
 
If I could turn 1mil into 50mil, I wouldn't be concerned about 1mil in the first place. If I knew how to turn 1mil into 50mil, I wouldn't have initially complained about how hard I work and how poor I am. One of these two claims can't be correct. One can either turn 1mil into 50mil, or one is currently and chronically poor. The two can't coexist, unless the poverty is completely by choice. If it's by choice, then complaining is a waste of time.
