I've been in graphic design for about 15 years now. I used to work out of the house professionally, now I'm freelance in my home.

I use Adobe Pagemaker and I'm "old school". I create the project in Pagemaker, print out the parts I need and use paste-up boards for a master to take to the printer and get mass produced.

I don't work year round either, mainly major holidays like Christmastime. Hence working a part time job to supplement my income (which I need to get soon.)

I do NOT draw. I'm not a graphic artist, I'm a graphic designer. For some reason alot of people have the misconception that a "designer" can draw, most can't (or won't). We take existing images, icons, clipart, yada yada and work with those.
 
Tyrion is correct on that one. You can't make a Joke about People no one knows.
Keits is a Major Figure in QCDN. So obviously he would be the Best "Conductor" of Humor.
 
Some people have a clean and empty sphincter.

Thought I'd step in for a moment... haven't been on the flameboards in a few weeks now.

Keits is just another guy, like you, me, etc. He uses the flameboards extensively, and fulfils the purpose they were made for, which is to express yourself openly without language restrictions or any need to hold back on what is said. Pretty much, anything goes on the flameboards, and he takes full advantage of that.

I guess what's at debate here is...

Does this make Keits a "bad" person, or an asshole?

I don't think so.

Does it really make one bad to call a tech-support line for your new electronics product to ask why something doesn't work? No, because that person is making use of something for the purpose it was created. What is the shame in that?

The flameboards are uncensored, uncontained HATE AND MALICE IN ITS PUREST FORM. Or at least, that's what they can become if a poster so decides to do it. You don't have to really -like- it, but you can't call someone an "asshole" where the SUGGESTED use is for being mean, pissy, and a dick. Most people chose not to utilize it in this way, and that's fine too.

Just don't understand how you can reason that Keits is an assclown, or eleitist prick. At least he keeps his issues ingame, which I can very much respect. The guy probably leads a pretty normal life, just like most people on this forum. He takes joy in that, who cares. The -real- problem arises when people try to bring real life personal issues into the game, such as Roofie bragging about his exploints with Kat, which have no place whatsoever on a Flameboard relegated to the game world of FFXI. I can't hold respect for any individual who strives for attention so badly that he/she must step on any person in order to get it (See: Roofie).
 
The only problem I've ever had with Keits is when he pursues people accross other boards because they have pissed him off in some way. He hasnt done it lately, and I think thats a good thing. It got on my nerves when someone would make him mad, and then he just wouldnt drop it.

He still does it to some extent with Dalecooper, but by this point its just funny to see a post, then see Dale write something, and then see Keits come in and say, "you have no friends." Its kind of like when you see that someone you know wrote their name on a wall, so underneath you wrote, "is gay."

I also used to find it odd that whenever Keits would complain about someone, they would also somehow be the newest registered user... but I now think it was just an odd coincidence.

But anyways, I see these boards are more entertainment than anything. I dont get stressed out over what I may think about someone who I will never meet in real life. I just like playing Final Fantasy, I dont get all uptight about which job is the best, or this RDM is meleeing, unless I really, REALLY want exp that badly I'm going to let people do whatever they want, provided its within reason.

Other threads? Yes. Other forums? No. (I can think of maybe two exceptions, and those involved my victims acting like total retards on other forums).
