Florida just won back to back national basketball title. First school to go back-to-back since Kentucky and the first team in a long time to win both basketball and football titles for the same seasons. They are a dynasty now. 3 titles with in a year.
 
Too bad I hate em. UTexas is still a stronger school sports wise

Its actually the first school ever to hold both titles in the same year... Damn I love my school.
 
I really wanted to see Ohio break that 6 point barrier, but they never could do it. Exciting finishes are waht make the NCAA tourny, and they didn't get any in the final 4 of this game.
 
If Puertorrican colleges were able to compete, they would give everyone a very good challenge in basketball. But would get so owned in football...
 
My boss had his Ohio State shirt on yesterday. He would not shut up about how sure he was they were going to win.

He came in today all sad-bastard. I'm almost afraid to make fun of him, because I'm sure the repercussions will be swift and violent.

First team ever to win back to back titles with the same starting 5 as well, definitely a huge accomplishment. Really puts UF in the national spotlight. GO GATORS!
 
Yeah. This is the first time a team won back to back NCAA Tourny's in 15 years. I believe that last was Duke. A lot of players no florida decided to come back this year and not take the big ass paychecks that were waiting for them. The fact they decided to finish college; I respect that more than the actual victory. It's rare to see that in college sports today. Especially basketball.

Heh, just like football. OSU fans tend to forget about their lacking of quality schedules, easy conference, and the fact that Florida beat them by 30+ points at the beginning of the year before conference play. Good stuff.

Not much to debate here. Texas got ownd in football and basketball. The only thing they can hope is their baseball is still in shape. They had their run now it's back to middle they go. Though they usually have solid teams, last few years aside (lol2?), nothing has ever been absurdly strong about any of their programs.

If you're a UT fan, you're gonna be hating football come next season and definatly basketball again... A&M is comming back strong in both, sadly. Though, it should be known I do not support either team, I hate the big headed UT fans (not personally just sports wise) something feirce considering they really, through the years, have nothing to be big headed about. Least A&M fans know their place.

I support all texas teams, but UT is my fav. I wouldnt call them middle of the road tho, they are stil top 16 in most sports. I guess the only reason I really hate Florida is because of Noah. I just cant bear to say that Florida is the best all around... Ill never say it even if they win all sports titles in one yeaer.
 
For reference, the last team to repeat NCAA Championships in Basketball was Duke in '90&'91. Congrats, though. Hell of a year for UF.
 
To bad Duke couldnt win a Football in between it all! We will just see how hard we are hit next season since we have a mostly fresh start on basketball and football... Rumor has it on campus that Harvin has become a speed machine with not one of our defenders able to keep up.
