This came up in another thread, but I figured it deserved a thread of its own. Anyone else play the demo for this and think this is going to be a good game? So far I have only played the female side of the demo and I love it. The whole shaking of the controller to asborb the mob's id seems a bit of a nuisance, but the rest of it seemed pretty cool. Fighting that big Venosaur motherfucker was pretty cool too.

I know I plan on picking it up next week ^^

I think it's fun but I don't really see how it's a next gen kinda game :P *shrugs* oh well. I know I wanna get it but might get other things before

When it hits $20-$30 I am all over it.

Wow, IGN says more good stuff about a PS3 game lol

Tell me if i'm off base here, but didn't Lair earn that 4.9? My friends all hate the game, and i didn't see too much praise on here for it.

Lair is a middle of the pack game. It would be great if they let you use the analog stick, but now it's simply alright. If you outright hate motion controls you'll hate it. But then you might also hate the Wii... which doesn't mean all wii games should get a 4.9...

Ya, Lair itself isn't a bad game. maybe a 6 (7 at the very most). It's pretty, story's ok (but incredibly cliche) and the controls are fine (once you get used to them). Not a bad pick up if you have a PS3, but not a game to buy the PS3 for.

Wow Folklore is awesome. If you think the demo's graphics are beautiful, wait till you see the full version! The cutscenes are wayyyy to cool and the gameplay, and the ids are even way much awesome. There's even a dungeon creator tool to allow you to customize your own dungeon and let your friends download them to be quested!

Ya, I like it. While the whole "dual-story" thing is interesting, I don't like how they're almost TOO similar. Hell, they even meet the same bosses, despite it already being dead. I mean, they meet different Folks, but the same bosses? I find that strange =/

When you reach Chapter 3 I think, they'll explain to you how the concept of time and space doesn't apply in faery land. Thus, you can face the same boss, but you're not on the same time or place.
