Um ... is this thread even real? :/

I come late to it, and it's obviously experienced explosive growth. I keep looking at the original post's timestamp, wondering if I really saw "June" instead of "April" in the month. The whole narrative possesses an unidentifiable, "unreal" quality -- it may be simple unwillingness to believe, but it feels like an April Fool's joke. The more I read, however, the less likely it seems that this is an elaborate hoax/joke that Neo and Mishaela are conducting in partnership.

:(

There are some things that separate this nuclear meltdown from typical "z0mgz st0l3d" threads:

1) Two very well-known, highly respected members of the community are involved.

2) It seems to have disrupted a genuine, well-developed friendship. It's not the case of some yahoo that said to someone they've known for two days "l0lz j00r kewl wan' my pw?!" The fact that this mess seems to have literally destroyed a human connection so ... real, and (for an Internet friendship) long-lasting ... well, it leaves a far more tangible acidic aftertaste to the story. Even the vicarious reality of what seems to have happened is depressing enough to make my heart sink, a little.

I can't simply despise the "villain" of this story, as one might do in a more typical flame. I just feel immensely sad, for both the Neosquall and Mishaela ... which is strange, considering I know the two parties involved only from their posts, here. I'm a colossal lameass for admitting it, but reading this thread makes one feel a little like someone who has to watch one spouse call the police on the other. Realizing that it's entirely justified only makes it worse.

Please, please, please stop acting as if I schemed to rob him and did. If I was seriously wanting to steal his crap, then I very obviously wouldn't have given it back to him within the day. I also obviously would've taken much more than just five pieces of equipment. Is it that really hard to see that? =/

Still doesn't cover for the fact that you send him items that weren't his that were signed so he wouldn't know that you stole from him. You felt guilty and gave it back, fine props to you for not being completely heartless. To me this is worse because you made him think that you were going without just to give him items that he "once had". This just made him feel worse.

You still haven't even talked to Rappa for getting a Divisor ring. "I don't think I can talk to you anymore" for him getting a piece of gear you've yet to obtain. Gear is obviously more to you than most people if you can't even keep being friends to someone when they have something you don't.

Neo copied me right away with what you said. Sure it's not concrete but I know Neo, this went down when Rhad and I were in Dynamis together so I didn't think to save it because I was owning shit.

Pulling Neo's emotions into this is bullshit, they have nothing to do with the situation. His father dying and the subsequent emotions stemming from it aren't a reason to steal, nor are they an excuse for what you did.

Now someone rate me up, I don't want to lose my pretty green bubbles for telling the truth! (lol)

This reminds me of The Lion King... Why'd you hit me? It doesn't matter it was in the past. lol

And thus the FB was saved again. The citizens of QCDN thank you Sculleibfrid.

I don't see why getting rid of a bunch of derailing posts is a bad thing. This thread is long enough without fifty posts that bring nothing to the table.

I realize the irony of posting about derailing, while derailing.

this explains a few things that i found to be odd.

but i still sorta feel this flame was un-needed. what she did was wrong yes. but you lost nothing. she didnt tell you she had it. nor did she sell it off for profit like most account jackers do. i've know Mish since my noobi rdm days and i know full well how short her temper is. i also know why but thats not the issue here. i fully beleive that she never intended to steal your stuff. and i also beleive she panic'd as she says.

this matter should have been kept between the 2 of you only. not splattered on the FB for the whole forum to see. the main thing i see her being guilty of is really bad judgement. things are not always what they seem. that phrase can work both ways, i know, but i feel it applies here.

Everyone makes mistakes, even our friends and loved ones. Whether or not it was a mistake or a misunderstanding is not as important as how you rectify it with each other if you are actually friends, and attacking one another does nothing to help that. Truly, I would think of this as something easily forgiven until people start getting defensive and trying to save face, or whatever that is.

well take into account this all happened 5 months ago. and she came clean back then. she made a bad call. he got his stuff back. aside from Mish's bad judgement call nothing really bad happened. well using his gear without asking is bad but i see no reason to sever ties so forcefully.

personally if that sitiuation happened to me i think i could forgive. yeah we all make mistakes. i would probably not let her have access to my account after said situation but i wouldnt just write her off. strong friendships dont cumble like cookies. i know this for a fact.

Cliff notes:
Stuff happened few months back => something happeded recently that made OP decide to post the flame to rile up Mish=> He said ..... she said..../point fingers

There are people that don't like Neo and others that don't like Mish. They are going to take their repective sides to bash each other to see who can yell more. Without any of us being there watching the whole thing happen over the months nothing is going to get resolved and we are just an audience at the Jerry Springer show that keeps repeatting the same facts over and over and beating the dead horse. Nothing is going to get resolved or change our opinion we've already had of either prior to this FB post.

P.S. I personally think that bringing back something from that far back and posting it now is just a way for the OP to get a rise out of Mish because something happened recently and this was the best way he could find to get back at her. Seems a little childish IMO.

QFT.

Mish made a mistake, admitted it and apologized. Neo erased her from AIM and such, frienship died, understanbly. What's the point of this flame? The see if the friendship meant anything? Take it to PM. Making it public like this will not bring back a friendship and Neo knows it.

So what's the point? To make the rest of us aware of Mish's actions? Warn me about shitty players who mpk their party, warn me about LS leader who steal LS banks and switch server. Warn me about a player who borrows gear after being said to do so, make a mistake, give it back and aopolgized? Gee... thanks I guess.

This is an unecessary jab at someone over something that happened a while ago, for no reason (none posted anyway).

I think it's odd this would be posted months (I don't care how many) after the fact.

I certainly haven't always gotten along with Mish, but after reading through these posts it seems to me that she didn't try to steal anything from Neo, but borrowed stuff without permission and then got flustered when she realized that he was pissed about it being gone. Even if she was told that she needed permission to borrow stuff, if he let her borrowing his SH slide without permission previously that creates the impression that it's okay.

I think that she knew she'd done something wrong from the start (probably when she borrowed the gear) but obviously wasn't intending on stealing it, otherwise Neo would never got the gear back.

I do think that the intent of the OP was not to "warn the community" (no matter what he tells himself -- I think his intent was to hurt Mish, plain and simple.

Just stop trying to be above me. You say that you believe in earning your gear. Yet you borrow from, what seems to be, a whole lot of people. AKA: The Osode. That is a HUGE fucking piece of gear. So stop giving me this shit on how you earn your shit.

SHIT-needs more shit...

There is absolutely nothing wrong with borrowing stuff while you're working on earning it yourself.

You basically said what I was trying to only better. D=

Damn you Garka!

It is a bunch of he said/she said. I agree with Tenax's post. But calling out on someone's rl stuff? That's just a real low blow, using that as a defense when you get called out for something? Cmon be mature.

i think there was an appology for that stated earlier in the post, but it was soon after quoted by the other party. I agree this is stupid to bring dirt back out months after the fact.

really cantioch. the mature thing would have been to never make this thread in the first place. would you wait 5 month to post something that you already spoken to, at lenth, said offender about?

I think that she knew she'd done something wrong from the start (probably when she borrowed the gear) but obviously wasn't intending on stealing it, otherwise Neo would never got the gear back.

If she didn't intend to steal it, why lie and try to cover up taking it. The whole "because she panicked" reason doesn't make any real sense as if there was no intent to steal in the first place there'd be no reason to lie or cover up by giving similar gear as a gesture of innocence. Once she fessed up she even said she needed not to be such a chickenshit and not to take the items in the game so seriously. If the case was that she didn't ever intend to take the items in question, why would she say those things? She denied it to the very last, until Neo pretty much verbally cornered her with who had access to the character.

I do think that the intent of the OP was not to "warn the community" (no matter what he tells himself -- I think his intent was to hurt Mish, plain and simple.

If this was the point, why would he post the thread a few months later instead of right after it happened when people were still pissed about it. I don't know about the others but when he told me what happened and who did it, I said he should flame the shit out of her. He didn't and all of us who knew respected his decision and didn't say anything about it until he did. Following the recent threads with so many people's characters being jacked, it makes sense to warn people about the fact that giving out your password is 99% of the time a bad idea.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with borrowing stuff while you're working on earning it yourself.

Not all the gear was her's to borrow because she didn't have permission to use it. She definitely did not have permission from me to use the piece that was in his possession. Why would he let her borrow gear that wasn't his? This is why he said to run it through him before using it. She didn't.

O.o omg Rhad did you for more than a one liner here? O.o I think i am in word shock XD XD XD XD XD XD

I never knew she took a Scorpion Harness. You've got to remember, she never said she could log into my account. Not once. Not ever. Until that one day of course. In fact I completely forgot to mention that in the original post. The Scorpion Harness was missing and I thought it was the only person that used my account at the time, Cami. If it was missing for a week, why didn't she tell me? If it was missing for a day, why didn't she tell? It was missing the day she asked me to camp Roc with her, why didn't she metnion it? It was missing before that one huge swipe and I was never told about it. Mayhaps you guys have some farfetched reason why that happened?

Why would she borrow things and not say she took them? And deny it? And give me copies said items to try to make her the innocent saint that is always willing to help? She knows I would've completely understood what happened if that's actually what did happen. Furthermore, why would she borrow things that she already has duplicates of? I never realized my dusk gloves were the equivalent of a Ken Griffey Jr. rookie card. Or maybe we can wear two Osode at the same time, in case it gets too cold, you know?

My intentions aren't to hurt anyone. Can anyone really be hurt? I'm only telling the truth. This is how me and several other friends saw it happen. The way she tries to weasel her way out of it is pretty funny though. The way she went right off the bat with a personal attack. That was even better. Like I said, I have nothing to gain from this. In fact, I've lost from this. I look like a fool now because she won't admit to it and because she thought telling everyone how I act when I'm drunk was the right thing to do. Not that it bothers me, I just hope someone invites me for a round should they ever come to Vegas (shameless plug).

Why should this be kept private? You wouldn't want to know who's ready to take advantage of you? I would. There's nothing to be kept private here. My original post never crossed the line of a personal attack. There's no fiction in my original post. Numerous people who actually witnessed everything happen pleaded for me to post this. I'd like to think I was being civil. Two months is a long time to wait, I'll admit. I felt bad for her. I felt bad that someone could be so emotionally involved in a silly game. That she'd be ready to give up friendships for some internet money. This was the right thing to do and I stand by my decision of letting the public know of this incident. I nearly lost friends because of her antics and I'd rather not see this happen to someone else.

I can assure you nothing happened recently. I haven't talked to her since the incident, and rightly so. I haven't been on the game in months. I thought it should be known, and it SHOULD be known. I was too nice to someone and I was taken advantage. The story of my life.

I'm sure it's hard for you to swallow, as the posters above so eloquently showed us, because you might be in a linkshell with her or might do whatever event in-game with her. That's fine. I commend you. It shows your loyalty to her and your shell. That's cool. It's your prerogative to believe what I said is true or not. I won't be the one to say I told you so when something does happen.

It's too much of a coincidence for me to think that she started taking things from my account shortly after I told her that I was quitting.

There's nothing else to say. Take this incident any way you want.

you still havent answered te underlaying questions from the objective readers. if you never intended to hurt anyone why did you make a thread about an incident that happened almost half a year ago?

thats what i wanna know.
