Numerous people who actually witnessed everything happen pleaded for me to post this. I'd like to think I was being civil. Two months is a long time to wait, I'll admit.

Um, read the whole post. He already answered that numerous times.

you still havent answered te underlaying questions from the objective readers. if you never intended to hurt anyone why did you make a thread about an incident that happened almost half a year ago?

thats what i wanna know.

Two months is not half a year. Try to keep up, it's not hard. Not at all, really.

I already said that I admit waiting any amount of time to post this is foolish. There is no explanation as to why I waited. I felt sorry for her I suppose. I couldn't say.

Not to split hairs, but it wasn't 5 months, it was 2 months. I've just seen you post the 5 month thing a few times and wanted to make sure you saw that it said in the thread previously this incident took place in April.

i saw 5 earlier. my bad.

*edit*
but it still seems odd to me that if he felt betrayed as he says he does. he would have posted it right then and there instead of waiting.

really cantioch. the mature thing would have been to never make this thread in the first place. would you wait 5 month to post something that you already spoken to, at lenth, said offender about?
Yeah true..lol

Why should this be kept private? You wouldn't want to know who's ready to take advantage of you? I would. There's nothing to be kept private here. My original post never crossed the line of a personal attack. There's no fiction in my original post. Numerous people who actually witnessed everything happen pleaded for me to post this. I'd like to think I was being civil. Two months is a long time to wait, I'll admit. I felt bad for her. I felt bad that someone could be so emotionally involved in a silly game. That she'd be ready to give up friendships for some internet money. This was the right thing to do and I stand by my decision of letting the public know of this incident. I nearly lost friends because of her antics and I'd rather not see this happen to someone else.

I'm sure it's hard for you to swallow, as the posters above so eloquently showed us, because you might be in a linkshell with her or might do whatever event in-game with her. That's fine. I commend you. It shows your loyalty to her and your shell. That's cool. It's your prerogative to believe what I said is true or not. I won't be the one to say I told you so when something does happen.

First part, I would've wanted to know..when it happened, not months from now. Hey guys <insertplayersnamehere> mpked my party.............2 years ago!!

It wasn't right for Mishaela to steal your stuff, but that was a while ago..not recent. This could've been resolved in private..

And she is in the linkshell I'm in, TheFlock. From what I've known we've only had 1 super tiny minor problem with her..(and i mean like ohmygodminor..as in it was barely anything and the problem can be read through this topic..not stealin though) but we moved on. There's nothing I can really complain about to her.

If she didn't intend to steal it, why lie and try to cover up taking it. The whole "because she panicked" reason doesn't make any real sense as if there was no intent to steal in the first place there'd be no reason to lie or cover up by giving similar gear as a gesture of innocence. Once she fessed up she even said she needed not to be such a chickenshit and not to take the items in the game so seriously. If the case was that she didn't ever intend to take the items in question, why would she say those things? She denied it to the very last, until Neo pretty much verbally cornered her with who had access to the character.

IMO, there is too much "he said, she said" in this situation to really know what happened. Regardless of other people seeing the log at the time she confessed she took the stuff, I doubt that people saw their conversations leading up to that point.

Unless she said the equivalent of "I intended to keep all of it," or, "I was never giving it back," this seems more like a situation where she wasn't intending to steal the gear.

If this was the point, why would he post the thread a few months later instead of right after it happened when people were still pissed about it. I don't know about the others but when he told me what happened and who did it, I said he should flame the shit out of her. He didn't and all of us who knew respected his decision and didn't say anything about it until he did. Following the recent threads with so many people's characters being jacked, it makes sense to warn people about the fact that giving out your password is 99% of the time a bad idea.

It does not make sense to drag out what was obviously a personal situation (and misunderstanding) out onto the flameboard. If Mish had outright stolen his stuff without the gray areas then it would be flame-worthy. If he had posted it immediately after all this happened it would have been more understandable because he would have been posting when he was still emotional about the situation.

Not all the gear was her's to borrow because she didn't have permission to use it. She definitely did not have permission from me to use the piece that was in his possession. Why would he let her borrow gear that wasn't his? This is why he said to run it through him before using it. She didn't.

Borrowing without permission is not flame-worthy (especially not months later). If she didn't intend to steal it, why bother?

Regardless I still think it all comes down to he-said, she said.

Tybalt by John Leguizammo(sp). yummy

I don't know if Mish and Neo talked to each other over the phone or anything but any dispute done through text can give room to misunderstandings as well as misinterpretations due to the differences in reading.

Why drag this crap out when it's been 2 months since the incident?

If this said argument took place at a god-forsaken hour then I would think that reading comprehension was probably dulled. Emotions would make things get out of hand so much easier.

I've read both sides. I've given it alot of thought and I don't understand why this was brought up after a few months when it was supposedly cleared up.
Bringing up something that long ago would be a rude awakening for some people. Especially if it was supposedly resolved.

There's a difference between MPK and thievery. I shouldn't need to explain it.

I've already said numerous times, there's no real reason why I waited this long. There's nothing that happened recently that made me want to do this other than the fact that I didn't want it to be a secret. It shouldn't have to be. You all have a right to know who the good players are and the bad ones are. I'm not trying to solve anything. There is no friendship I want to salvage. I just want everyone to know the truth. It's that simple, really.

Oy what a read.

I think the big issue with the thread is Mish thought this was resolved months ago...I don't think she understands what he wants from her by posting this and I'm not sure I do either. Yes Mish was in the wrong hence the apology and if he had come out right after I think it wouldn't be so confusing. If this was just a "Hey, you know what? I just want to get this out in the open as a warning to others" thread I could understand it - but he keeps calling her out on something. It's not the initial theft, as she admitted to it and said she apologized (this doesn't make the theft right but it does show she feels bad about it and wish it never happened) but something else.

If this was just a warning thread then I think it's a bit late but it does happen...just doesn't seem that way and I don't know if Mish knows what he wants out of her because I'd surely be confused if I was in her position.

I never knew she took a Scorpion Harness. You've got to remember, she never said she could log into my account. Not once. Not ever. Until that one day of course. In fact I completely forgot to mention that in the original post. The Scorpion Harness was missing and I thought it was the only person that used my account at the time, Cami. If it was missing for a week, why didn't she tell me? If it was missing for a day, why didn't she tell? It was missing the day she asked me to camp Roc with her, why didn't she metnion it? It was missing before that one huge swipe and I was never told about it. Mayhaps you guys have some farfetched reason why that happened?

Why would she borrow things and not say she took them? And deny it? And give me copies said items to try to make her the innocent saint that is always willing to help? She knows I would've completely understood what happened if that's actually what did happen. Furthermore, why would she borrow things that she already has duplicates of? I never realized my dusk gloves were the equivalent of a Ken Griffey Jr. rookie card. Or maybe we can wear two Osode at the same time, in case it gets too cold, you know?

My intentions aren't to hurt anyone. Can anyone really be hurt? I'm only telling the truth. This is how me and several other friends saw it happen. The way she tries to weasel her way out of it is pretty funny though. The way she went right off the bat with a personal attack. That was even better. Like I said, I have nothing to gain from this. In fact, I've lost from this. I look like a fool now because she won't admit to it and because she thought telling everyone how I act when I'm drunk was the right thing to do. Not that it bothers me, I just hope someone invites me for a round should they ever come to Vegas (shameless plug).

I can assure you nothing happened recently. I haven't talked to her since the incident, and rightly so. I haven't been on the game in months. I thought it should be known, and it SHOULD be known. I was too nice to someone and I was taken advantage. The story of my life.

I'm sure it's hard for you to swallow, as the posters above so eloquently showed us, because you might be in a linkshell with her or might do whatever event in-game with her. That's fine. It's too much of a coincidence for me to think that she started taking things from my account shortly after I told her that I was quitting.

There's nothing else to say. Take this incident any way you want.

I am not in any ls with Mish, and I haven't done much with her in-game. In fact, the only thing I've done with her (an o-hat run) ended with me very mad at her because she overreacted about something. So I don't have any type of need to defend her due to a personal relationship with her. I don't defend her making personal attacks but, I think calling her a thief (in-game or otherwise) is in itself a personal attack.

I do however, think that this was a personal relationship and situation that went bad and should have stayed off the flameboard. I'm not saying that anyone (including yourself) is lying, but I do think that the whole situation is can be skewed to either side depending on whose viewpoint you're looking at.

Whether it be about a respected person of the "community" or not, people post when shit happens to them on the flameboard. Whether it be months ago is moot, it still happened and it can happen again. Neo is warning people like others do here.

I knew after the last 3094275097325 post not to give out my account info. I don't really care to know about all their personal crap either just like I hate it when people fight in public. I know the situation I can make my own judgment from that I don't need tons of personal crap.

well see this is my take on this.

when i worked as the legal NCO in my battalion adjutant i had to deal with many situations that developed like this. "he said she said" cases are complicated enough with out evidence being brought to my attention weeks, months, sometimes longer after the initial filing of charges or complaint. my OIC would always ask the same question, "why didnt they tell us sooner?" or "why are you telling us this now and not when it happened". reguardless of the excuss we got, 9/10 we found a certain missing facter that was convenintly left out. thats why the wait period has me wondering.

im trying to think with an open picture on this matter. she borrowed gear off your account. an account you allowed her access to of your own free will. she did not inform you of removing several things from said account. we have established already that all she had to do was ask first but in not doing so she was wrong. but thats, as far as i can see it, the extent of her wrong doing. she made bad assumptions and judgement calls. now you keep saying the "stole" from you. what did she steal? she returned everything. she pulled a jack sparrow and borrowed without permission. "but with every intention of bringing it back".

all in all i still say this is something that would have done better if kept just between the 2 of you.

man what a melodramatic cry for attention over something of no consequence from months ago that was brought back for no reason, perhaps livejournal would be a better avenue for posts like this in future
