For all the GIL Buyers...

Not to piss on your party and all, but those who buy gil with real cash hardly think of themselves as losers. I would even go as far as saying that those who buy gil think of those who spend countless hours farming as losers.
 
My biggest beef with gil buyers is this:

GODDAMN IT'S EXPENSIVE!!!! Not worth it, at all.
 
20 hours spent farming vs buying the same amount of gil with 2-3 hours worth of work at a decent job. Yep, we all know what losers they are. :roll:

i bet if the prices on gil were cut in half by 75-99%... more ppl would buy gil online, haha.. i guarantee. ESPECIALLY if someone has a steady income.
 
2 mil for $10? Sign me up! 2mil for the $500 though, sorry, but Id rather just craft steadily and put that money towards, oh, i dunno, food maybe? :lol:

i dont particularly have a problem with the gil-selling farmers. (I Do have a problem with some of their attitudes however).
nope. just like i blame the fuckin parents for the violence in public scools, i blame the gil buyers for the gil sellers.
as for gil buyers....

You realize that if $10 will get you 2 million gil, then the economy will be in such a state that a bronze subligar will cost you 500k.

Sorry to say this since I don't buy gil and I don't want to buy gil. But I've checked out a couple other places besides IGE out of curiosity of the price (how much real money do you pay for fake money?), and I saw the 50k is somwhere around 4 bucks, 200k is like 14, and you can get a mil for 75 or something. While I can say that 75 bucks is a lot of money to spend on virtual cash I can also say that I would only have to work a day to make that, while I could spend weeks farming to get it.
 
Yea then if everyone had 2+ million gil I GAURANTE LL boots hit a million, same as the Hairpin, Vermilion breaks the 10 million mark etc. People do not get economics, number one rule, there is no such thinng as a free lunch. Most people who buy gil probaly piss it away further increasing inflation.

Thank you Direwolf! I wish I could have beaten you to the punch, but yes that WILL happen if gil prices drop to 1 million for 10 bucks. Some freak will just buy 50 dollars worth and buy out the AH. Demand will just outpower the supply, and increased prices would be normal because of the inflation that is involved.

ACTUALLY, if these gil prices were to happen, then i GUARANTEE that SE would do something against IGE because the prices would go waaaay out of control for those who DO NOT buy gil on the internet. Those poor, decent people who farm for their money will be overwhelmed by the increadible amount of inflation due to those who take advantage of cheap gil prices because of those stupid gil sellers. Because of them I cannot log or mine anymore. I just cannot. I cannot take those swarms of people gathered in one place who do not care if you got to a spot first. They will just stand behind you and hope you fail and take your spot.


Anyway, I have gone off topic, but I am sure you all know what I mean.

I just think its funny. All you guys do is complain about how inflation will happen when everyone starts buying fake money. I honestly don't think it will cause its not like that money is coming out of thin air or anything like that. It is coming from the server economy. Just because they are buying the money the people selling it are actually farming it. In all honesty i don't care if you buy your gil or not. Cause they haven't invaded my farming spot yet and I can make roughly about 20k in 3 hours or so. And here is a pic for everyone that won't stop whining.

Ok, decidence beat me to saying that, and then Xelos beat me to making that comment, so I guess I'm screwed.

Except Xelos, I disagree with your comment about people that don't buy gil being screwed, because drecant is right about something: the demand will overpower the supply. You'll make more money farming and logging than you did before.

Oh and Drecan, you're not Tyrion, and your pics aren't anywhere near as funny.
