For all you people getting married or are married in game...

When I was still a noob, I was lost in Ronf., looking for King Ranp's Tomb to try to finish is rank 2 mission, and saw Daroth standing nearby and asked (politely) if he could point me in the right direction. He asked me to follow him, and we began chatting. He got me the scales (after valiantly fighting like 30 bats for me - a stranger) gave me a LS pearl sack - and we befriended eachother - and hung out pretty much everytime I was on for awhile. :) We were always silly and flirty - so it was way cute when he proposed. *sigh* I think you'll meet someone when you least expect it (like in real life)...us girls are a sucker for romance and weddings - in life, and in roleplaying, so once you find a female character you get along with, I am sure she would accept your proposal....I am proposed to constantly (mostly by strangers) so don't do that - it always seems so odd and desperate when it happens. Kyrial - I just read your story - how cuuuuute!!!! :) Rock on girlie! Isn't it funny how even a game can make us swoon?! Makes it more fun, in my opinion...

Dar took my on my first trip to Jeuno to propose to me in the cathedral. :) I wish my real life bf would do things like that. Oh well - guess I will live vicariously through my Elvaan. lol

I'm so shy, if you know me you know this ^^. So what I did is send the one I wanted to marry a Lilac Corsage and when she recieved it, I proposed. I was so damn nervous at what she would say (because I hate facing rejection) and surprisingly she was happy and said she would think about it. I was so thrilled because to me, anything is better than a no. ^^ You post on these forums, you know who you are. :D

Also, I don't like the wedding dress. IT HAS NO PANTS, DAMMIT! I need pants!

Of course, I might change my mind if you could get a wedding weapon. I might be ok with no pants if I could have a big-ass great axe with a big white ribbon on it. :mrgreen:

Ive proposed, but we are waiting on the wedding. Im going to craft her a ring with my name in it. So Im busting my ass to raise my goldsmithing lol. But it will be worth it if she gets an engagement ring, I think. Every one of my friends wishes they had an idea like that though lol.

I can't understand the concept of marriage in game, it's totally pointless in my eyes, especially if those who marry in game are married to someone else in real life.

Be that as it may, in my opinion, I can't imagine that there is much of a market for marriage material at your age.
 
is that it? someone once tld me they share items too, like on person can use stuff on the others inventory, im not sure its true or not.
 
I think the JP players version let's "married" couples share their mog house. :)

I know that you get a cool dress and a few rings and whatnot...I haven't actually gotten married yet - but will let you in on the scoop after I do . ;)
 
Nope, there is no moghouse sharing, that was just rumor thats been shot down on various message boards. The same thing with the ring being locked into the slot, thats bogus too.
 
My "Fiance's" name is Aidyn (level 53 THF, say hi to him if you see him! :P) and we became engaged through Roleplaying. Since we're in an RP LS. He actually proposed twice though, once out of character (ON the boat to Selbina because we were both curious on how this "Wedding" thing would work) and in character in Zitah ^^

Basically In character wise the two came together accidently. He was protecting someone who was mad at Armi and yelled at her, then happened to meet up with her in Bastok. The two talked more often after that.... and Bam! engaged! Weird how it worked out.

Out of character, me and Aidyn met through Astiroth, who Aidyn is friend's with in real life. Astiroth brought him into our ls as soon as he got the game. I didn't really pay attention to him for a while though (Sorry Aidyn!) but now we're really good friends.

And the marriage thing is cute, but just don't take it seriously. After all, it is just a game! so have fun with it! :D
