Sunday will be my 1 year anniversary from when I first logged into the Quetzalcoatl server.
Throughout my journey, I've come across some cool people and some not-so-cool people.
Some of those cool people are in my current NA social LS, PheonixPimps. ;P
I forget who, but in a late-night discussion the topic came up that I wouldn't be able to get alllll my jobs to 37+ before the year was up. x;
A couple other non-believers came my way and I figure I'm going to get the same crap: "SS or it didn't happen."
Anyway I fired up FFXI on my PC (god it's slow...) and took a screenshot for you. <3
I'm sure most of you have your SJs leveled, or at least the ones relevant to the multitude of jobs you play, so this is probably chump change for alot of you...
But I was rather pleased with all I did in my first year of FFXI and thought I'd share.
Missions and other crap you probably don't care about are viewable through the linkshellbeta linkup here. YES HERE CLICK ME OMG!
I just wanted to thank some of the people who made this a real fun ride for me.
The guys who taught me everything I know about RDM but don't always show...
Master Teacher & Kirlua from my HK Social.
Master Teacher finished the remaining two pieces of my RDM AF, for body and hat when I needed them and was there for most of my PLD AF too with the NewPONCUTE crew. XD (Same crew who backed me up for my Joyeuse!)
My two best friends in-game ATM who stuck out these last few jobs to 37 with me and just keep the game fun to play, Xalo and Lukas(Eliott on the forums.) Anything from Skype to Vent antics to those two runt Tarus poking fun at my physical similarities to a giraffe. >_>; Oh and my lovely friend Moonyoung too. -.- She did like everything for me that Xalo or Master didn't do. More HKTK eye farming, NEVER! Oh yeah and my wanker friend Stevedizzle too. x;
My dear little friend Inuka who practically helped keep me geared while I was leveling my first job of Red Mage (and yeah, I had no idea the job was so popular back then, lol...)
Nyosan for dragging me through to finish G1 when I was a RDM with a current WHM sub, but gave me hell about a gimp BLM sub. ;p
All the cool people I've come across and xp'ed with who just made the time pass so quickly that I didn't realize we've been xping for 7+ hours or so, or just put a smile on my face in general.
FFXI can be pretty dull without bumping into cool people. ;p
There are plenty of people I've crossed paths in who're worth mention here, however I am going to leave that for a departure thread where you all tell me "see you in 3 weeks" "get the fuck out and don't come back Lec" or something similar to that, if I don't get banned first! I'd steal Dejan's line of blaming the memory and not the heart, but so far I remember everyone I need to. I think I still have my .doc files I started one day when I realized I wanted to remember who helped me along the way... ;P
This thread is already longer than it should be.
I'm just stoked I finally have no subjob worries for the next however many days it is until the new expansion. XD
Oh, and Motley was pure wins for keeping an eye on how many days I had left and jabbing me in the side with a stick. =x
I'd go sleep, but off to try my luck on BCNM40 for more PCC love. I'm broke, last two jobs I dinged 37+ with were RNG and COR. /sigh
If you felt you wasted your time reading this, that's your fault. If you gave enough of a shit to read it, you should give enough of a shit to be slightly curious! XD
