Go to www.xfire.com and download this thing.

It's an instant messenger for gamers! You can see what your friends are playing, and even in what server or what they're doing. I don't believe it's compatable with FFXI, but I'm not entirely certain. You can message 'em, the interface will not mess with other games either. CSS, HL2DM, WoW, games of that ilk. By the way, I'm EZTargetx on Xfire. Feel free to add me. :)

Also posting in BFII Forum and Off Topic. :)

i think i will get this ;o

Have it already lol, can't chat while online though. Would of been nice.

I love it. The chat function works fine while I'm playing ffxi. I commonly chat with friends who are outside ffxi on it while camping nms and other boring activies.

BAH old news... J/K

I've used this a few years back with America's Army and the Battlefield 1942; vietnam, desert combat games.

It is VERY nice, but has one big drawback:
Anyindividual can send pop up spam to your desktop messing up the game. Hopefully that has been patched.

Teamspeak and Ventrillo are nice. Get a LS on teamspeak!!

yeah while playing america's army, some jackass in my clan
www.usacompany.org would spam me for fun.

Marduk73 /em uninstalls xfire (aa handle)

seriously, get a LS on teamspeak that would be great.
