I read that its not too hard for Samurai, so I'm not really too intimidated by Maat at this point.

Yeah.. that's the key, zero - low intimidation.

Set your strat/prep > Relax > go in and pretend you are fighting an xp mob > get the job done. I figured, if I lose, I can treat the loss as a learning tool.
 
Barring a loss due to the "Idiot in party" factor, every error should be viewed as a learning experience.

Personally, I think Tarutarus of almost any job have it hardest against Maat. But if you go in prepared, it shouldnt take more than a few tries.
