Formal request to have Roofie banned from this site.

We could alternatively vote some people to do some heavyduty mod-ing and just erase every post he makes about racism, and keep the other posts he makes? =P

Ok hey, better idea. You don't want to ban roofie, fine. Give us a blacklist for the boards, so I don't have to see his posts. Good as the real thing.

I didn't say DON'T, I just said I don't care. =P And was giving a suggestion - if he's not banned, can always get some mods to clear racist/whatever posts, as it'd relieve the primary problem as well as leave him here for when he makes an actually good post.
 
Though as I said in an earlier post, I don’t like what Roofie is saying, but he has technically by my understanding broken no rules. My comment here is about the Freedom of Speech aspect. Freedom of Speech does not apply to the Private Sector or Private Citizens to include a private forum. It only prevents the government from passing any laws, which hinder freedom of Speech.

The only reason I make this point, is because Freedom of Speech is often misunderstood as to what is actually protects. The owners of this board have the right to allow or disallow anyone access, as well as to censor anything they choose too, as it is there property.
 
Sigh would be so easy if you coud deal with people on a person to person level more often. If I say something offensive my friends will politly tell me, I will apologize, and I won't do it again. Because I have respect for them. I don't go "I can goddoomit saya what I want, crackerz".

Anyway before anyone jumps on it (I just realized how it much sound) the blacklist thing was sarcasim.

I doubt roofie would care if he was nicely asked to stop. Look, sorry if I keep being long winded on my posts it's the way I am..

I love the flame boards and boards alike on other sites. A lot of you bring up really good points, or good agravatee's that I can relate too. Most of you do a wonderful job in making your points, going up big time in my respect levels, and even when people have conflicting opinions or prove you wrong most of you handle it with grace. Even people who tend to cuss a lot or be hotheaded and say something wrong. We all have our way to argue. A lot of good can come out of intelligent (even if it doesn't seem intelligent) argument. That's the case 99% of the time and even though I don't post much I love to read... I thank you for that. But... really, useless and pointless insults shouldn't have a place here. I feel it lowers the reputation and credibility of the board, and helps no one. Just another reason to ban people like roofie...Really if you want to insult someone have a good reason at least >.<
 
I don't think this guy deserves this attention either way.
The guy knows his freedoms, and he chose to use them in a way that was insulting. It's his damn free choice to act that way...Consistently.

But it's QCDN's choice, not the government's, on how to deal with him.

I say we just pitch in for a palne ticket, send him to Japan, put him on a busy streetcorner with a microphone and have him blab his big mouth and see what happens. When there is recourse for his actions he'd probably just pus out. Hopefully, he doesn't, and gets his ass beat. Btw we need to get it on tape.

I'm not going to bother reading thru this entire 12 page thread... I read the first 5-6 pages(and was surprised to find Roofie took a while to start cussing people out) and I am all for kicking him off this board.

Making an announcement on the main boards, read it there and then make comments, suprised I left for awhile and all this happened, that is all.
