Forza 2

Anyone have the Microsoft XBOX 360 Wireless gaming Wheel to go with this game? I've been thinkin bout gettin this game with the wheel to go with it. Is it any good?
 
I am going to pick the wheel up myself today. This game is just too good, i may as well go all out.
 
I just picked up the game and the wireless racing wheel. Been screwing around for acouple hours. Definitely tons o fun!

Using the wheel now and it is very fun. Its accurate and Responsive. The learning curve is a bit rough tho lol. But you get the hang of it eventually. Also it came packaged with PGR3 which i never had. Pretty sweet to me lol.

thats pretty phat. I picked the game up a few nights ago, pretty fun.. though i suck ass lol.. not much of a racing gamer.

No live acct, yet. This is only the 3rd game I have for 360 (including FFXI).

Like Osyris said, the racing wheel has a bit of a learning curve, but it DEFINITELY adds a lot of fun to the game. Everything is sensitive, from the wheel to the pedals. I highly recommend picking up the wheel if you can.
 
Would you say this game is more like Grand Turismo or Burnout: Takedown (the racing bit, not the crash stuff)? Those are the only two games I really have to compare lol.. You can find me on Burnout racing after I finish leveling evenings, my gamertag is Voidspawn

Grand Turismo. Forza is a racing sim. Burnout is more of a free time killer type of racer lol. Crashing is fun there tho =D. If you are more into Burnout gameplay and not the accuracy of each car/physics/upgrading like Forza offers, you may not like Forza. There is damage in game, but it can cause your car to um... suck lol. No crazy explosions, just broken body kits, windows, engines, shifters, brakes and other things like that. Eventually crashing enough will not allow you to continue in the race, as you will be moving at 5MPH lol.

i went and picked this game up tonight. btw nice mustang lol. rockin the transformers lol and al send me a pm or something, i got a 48 hr free trial with forza. maybe you can try it out and we can get ya hooked lol
 
Finaly stepped it up... I have 3Mil ingame now so said fawk it.. Went big.
$205,000 and about $130,000 in upgrades later...

how do you customize the vehicles with logos like that, can you upload pictures to the game or do they come pre loaded?
 
You can not upload or anything. You must make all designs using simple shapes. I happen to be experienced with Photoshop so it works for me. Forza editor uses layer system similar to Photoshop. The simple shapes go from square, circle triangle ect.. to shaded versions of each. Also lined versions of each with no solid interior. To the normal patters games give with Tribal and whatnot. The big bonus is not only can you change the size but you can alter any shape. For example a square can be thined and adjusted to make a simple line. For that halo 3 i used a circle, made it oval. Put a triangle on top and went from there.

man, i wanna design some cars too but i dont wanna sit there forever cause i get really detailed when i customize lol. how do you get the pictures? do you need to be on xbox live to get the pictures online? im thinking of downloading forza 2 but i only got one dual layer disc, money is tight around here since next month is property taxes for me, my basement needs flood repair and lastnight my computers 250 GB drive died and lost some important files.
but the darkness comes out this month too...
i wanna buy it more than anything, but ill probly have it downloaded before i buy it so i gotta be careful what i burn lol.

edit: fuck, actually...Tenchu z just got put up...gonna download that now...need...more...discs...

Any time you take an in game photo you get the option to upload it to Forzamotorsport.net. The photo is tied to your gamer card, which is already a member of the site you just must activate it. Also from the site you can check all Auctions in game, your auction, top lap times, top bank totals you know stuff like that.
