Found something peculiar the other day....

[Excim]

Square of spectral crimson
This provokingly red cloth reeks of
the underworld.

I'm wondering, I can't find any information about this from my usual sources... ie: Allakhazam, Killing Ifrit... so what is it? I couldn't find it in the AH, it's not rare/non exchangeable, so it's probably not for a quest...

[Help Me Out!]

Heard anything about this item???

[Seawolf]

Item used to craft the Haunted Muleta, which is used to pop a NM that drops the Toreador's Cape.

You can put it in bazaar for a high price

[Excim]

Umm.... high price? What kind of price are we talking? Are there any people specifically looking for this item? I don't know what the going rate is for this item...

[Seawolf]

A few hundreds K maybe? I heard it's as rare as coffer keys. I'm sure some rich high-level NINs would rather buy it instead of spending several hours farming it.

How hard it is to find a customer is another question

[Galaika]

The problem with the Toreador's Cape is while it looks good for NINs you have to be careful. It has a hidden effect that makes criticals on you more often and more damaging. So you really have to make sure you dont get hit

[Excim]

I guess I'll find out...

Thanks Sea Wolf, you've been most helpful. Send me a PM if any of you need these items as well. :!:

[Faedryth]

Cape with +9 Evasion and +4 Enmity...I dont care if it makes every hit on you a one shotter....that is amazing...

Cape goes for like 4 million I believe, so yeah couple 100k sounds right.

Fae

[Bajaratt]

I've seen them going for 1 mil before. Although if you had one, I'd consider just getting the pop item made and just go fight the NM for the cape.
