Found use for one of the odd new items? (spoilers inside)

Someone on Allakhazam who had managed to hack out the text for the doll event before it happened has found the text for another event. Just reading it makes it pretty obvious that this is what the lvl 1 wooden katana will be used for. Sounds like a pretty fun quest!

Oh nifty, from what it sounds like, the moogles will teleport you to a special area. Probably something like how you teleport to dynamis. And then these samuria fomors will be there for you to whack on.

It does sound like a lot of fun.

The Treant event is by far the best one yet imho. The others I've participated in has only been cosmetic compared to the Outpost-teleport system, which was the reward for beating all the Treants. I participated in killing the S Gusta, E Saruta, W Saruta and finally the Meriphataud-treants. I was LV29-30 at the time, don't remember really. All I know is that I had unlocked the DRK-quest, 'cause I used that GS in Saruta.

This new event sounds like fun.

The Twinkling Treant event was a blast. I was a level 32 RDM at the time. It was so much fun. I hope this is like that.

It said they would be posing as other adventurers... they would look like normal players? OH man this sounds neat!

I was on a little vacation when the trents were going on.... what the heck were they?

Larger than normal walking trees that took literally days, to kill. Mostly because they would teleport every couple seconds to another spot on the zone.

It was nice to see a whole zone full of people try to fight something, fun too.
