FoV manual Regen vs. Mages Regen

In your opinion, which Regen is better? Regen from the FoV manual which gives 1 HP/tick for 30 min and costs 20 tabs or Regen cast from a mage which gives 5 HP/tick for 75 secs and costs 15 MP to cast?

If you have Regen from the FoV manual, it can't be overwritten by Regen cast from a mage so you're stuck with 1 HP/tick. Some people seem to think that Regen from the FoV manual is better than having a mage waste 15 MP. In my opinion, I don't care how much MP it costs to cast Regen. 5 HP/tick will have a much better chance of saving a tanks ass than 1 HP/tick.

You're right, it is 60 min but some people think it only lasts for 30 mins.

Pretty sure its an hour. Sometimes EXP parties make effects seem shorter because of the other things you need to focus on. Thats also why refresh never seems to last long enough.

Apples and oranges. FoV Regen is geared more towards the solo play people that aren't mages. Regen from mages will always beat regen from Manual, But that's not what it's there for.

I totally agree. Regen from the manual should be used for soloing, not in a pt with mages.

should be a flame in the flameboard, regen from FoV during a party makes me cringe as a mage, please don't use it unless you're soloing, otherwise mp WILL be wasted when the mage realizes regen isn't doing anything to you.
