This is a long shot, but I had a lot of problems with my Marvell Yukon Chip when I updated the driver from windows update (ASUS board, but I figure any MB with that chip will also use the same/simliar driver.) But the information provided is insufficient to tell.

Explanify.

Freezing can result within a bunch of things..

1- Graphics Card
2- Processor Speed
3- Ram Speed

Look and make sure that your graphics card drivers are up to date, and set your cpu and ram speed to default in bios (that is if you have messed with it -overclocked ) if it still messes up, you could have falty ram, or graphics card.. idk

Need more info ^^;

Hope this helps
