Movie Friday the 13th

[Myrrh]

Just saw this and I have to say. It was pretty decent. It wasn't all Saw type gore and Jason was a smart killer. A few cliches but all in all it was a good movie.

[Tristam Green]

Took notes for your future rampage, did you?

I doubt I'll see this though; Ft13th films aren't my cuppa :|

[Myrrh]

I was the only one in the theater laughing when people got killed. <_<;

[Tiael]

I'm going to see it tonight, Jason Voorhees and Jared Padalecki from Supernatural, awesome combo!

[Halifirien]

I enjoyed it quite a bit. I've been a Friday the 13th fanboy for many, many years. I think they did a great job rebooting the series. It felt strange to see Jason alive again after so many years of the Kane Hodder zombie version, but it was fine... as was Jared Padalecki. /drool

Don't mess with Jason's weed.

[Brydan]

Dani and I liked it. Campers roasting over an open fire!

Hehe.

Spoiler:

I'd heard there was supposed to be a sleeping bag kill in this one, but I certainly expect him to bake that poor girl like a potato in her sleeping bag. That made me laugh. The only way he could've topped it would've been by slamming her into a tree like in Part 7.

I enjoyed this as well. Its your normal typical friday the 13th so if you like the old ones, you'll like this one. Jason did seem more predator like in this one which I thought was cool.

[Stine]

I might watch it when it goes to video only because I am a scaredy cat when it comes to horror movies. I've watched some of the other movies in the franchise and enjoyed them.

Same, plus I've never watched the original films, so I'll probably need to watch those first.

Not necessarily, this one is more like a reboot of the original films taking elements from the first 3.

I see, still though, I think I'd better watch the originals first.

[Lucki]

Really, the only good Jason movie was Jason X. You know, the one where he's in space.

Hey! I enjoyed watching him smash the hologram women into the ground while they were in their sleeping bags.
