Friends joining server question

[Warseth]

Ok in the past you had to buy an ingame code to mail to your friend to use to create a character on the server you are on.

Do I need this still? How long does a code last..as in what is its shelf life to be used before expire?

I have a pal about to activate the free trial...need to know since they will be online Tuesday ...so i dont wana buy it unless i know it wont expire too soon.

You dont need it but you can get the gold world pass to get yourself free furniture/event items.

If you're creating a new character. Then you can select the server for it to be created on when you're making the character. If it's a character on another server then you have to server transfer which costs $25.

You only need a world pass if you want to recieve bonus items.
