Fuck Yeah Crappy Leaders: A message to Dezvoltare

Hench why you can't use hence correctly.

And points did get tallied when they weren't there if someone kept track of it. I know when I camped or farmed I kept track and made sure they got the attendance. Most people would rather complain than take responsibility for attendance

Points were handled badly. There were only four columns: Previous total, Add, Subtract, New Total. It was all manual and there was no breakdown anywhere of what was getting added and why.

If you thought your points total was off unless you kept count of your attendance for the week/month since the last update you were SOL. There was nothing you could do to prove you deserved more points since there were no logs of events with attendance.

I did do that lol. Several times I'd tell them to fix my points and they would. But I mean what do you expect from teens who just wanted to lead a linkshell without thinking about all the work it takes (shout out to all ls leaders for how much out of game shit you got to do)

My point is exactly that though. Zyc was a terrible leader because he reached the point he didn't want to lead anymore (after spending 100M + in currency to get himself a relic) but he wouldn't pass leadership responsibilities to anyone who would take it seriously after he reached that point.

For all Zyc talked about making decisions by what was best for the shell, he didn't do that. His criterion for leadership was whether or not they would preserve the shell as a mausoleum for him and their undying loyalty to him. Skill, knowledge, and the actual capability to manage people were irrelevant.

The same stilted standards were applied to relic sponsors. Being able to fund half the relic yourself (thus preserving the bank for future relics) didn't count in your favor. Being absolutely worthless to the shell didn't count against you. All that mattered was your Zyc loyalty rating.
