Sleep has the tendancy to lose claim on mobs relatively fast. When I was in static with Jonas, Ingwe, Pye, Atfgame, and Chidori, doing Processionaires in Boyahda tree, I told Pye to bind any slept links I had. Because people were stealing our mobs that we slept. Bind kept them claimed. So maybe you should try that out next time, Proph.

The reason you would lose claim on adds is each person can only have claim on one mob at a time, more or less. If you have claim on mob A, and attack mob B, you will lose claim on mob A after a couple seconds. If your rdm/blm/brd sleeps a link, he has claim on it. If he then casts an enfeeble on the mob the party is fighting, he loses claim on the link.

Hey guys! Im looking for help to camp Wyvernpoacher Drachlox in Gustav Tunnel. A level 65-70 gob that drops the best crossbow in the game for rng. A party of 60+ can take it easily. It is a 1-2 hour spawn. I am aiming to do it sometime friday, depending on how early i can get pt for it. All help is greatly appreciated.^^

It seems easy after building up tp on surrounding mobs, it is just a somewhat longish fight with many nasty bomb tosses. ^^

The big reason I left that linkshell is because members like that were allowed to stay, with no penalties, punishments, etc, whatsoever. I still respect some of the people that are (were) in it, but well, Yoshindor, for one, is STILL in that linkshell, despite everything he's said and done. In my opinion, something like that is just inexcusable.

Seriously dude it was a repectable LS, until members like him started to polute it, my main reason for leaving...

Whoa! nice thread however I believe the "fuck this" "fuck that" isnt neccessary, and :fuck you blood of legends" title isnt just bashing 1 person, its bashing my LS, which brings a problem to me. 1st off, I wasn't there, I haven't even logged on, and I have heard noones side to this story but Phrophs, so I will jsut make my statement from what I've read. Its very surprising with some of the comments people have left, because it just shows something, which is bad character and disrespect.

Proph, well be-downed Im trying to picture the situation in my head, and its just to many incidents, which could cause the loss of claim. Its proven, with enough activity, and mobs around, claim could get lost, and the only thing I have to comment about that is, i'm sorry what happened, and yes my members actions do reflect the LS, and I will get down to the bottom of this situation. BoL has never MPKed, nor will we ever, if you happen to read my past posts, I highly object against it, and for which will not be tolerated.

Though the claiming, and losing claim situation just proves 1 thing, u lost it, u lost it. This game is built upon competition, and shit is bound to happen. If it bothers u that much Proph, I will re-imburst you with your troubles, but I just want to make 1 point clear.

BoL has been here for awhile, I do not base my LS on anything, other than respect. Yoshi has been in BoL before he even had a sub-job, and yea ppl hate him or whatever, lets face the facts, noone is the same, and some personalities are more straight forward than others. Yoshi will always have my respect, because he has respected me and BoL since day 1. Those qualities are very hard to find among players who only care about themselves. Claims lost only means that POL needs to fix that glitch, or something else happened, because claim lost on an NM isnt based on who taps the finger the fastest. For one, I thank you for respecting and not taking action, because like I said, I havent talked to anyone yet, and I will post further updates on this situation.

To the alligations of "greed" and "respect" well thats your perogative. I molded BoL with a vision of unity and respect. Kirayamato, its surprising to see u write comments like that about my LS, because we've had good times and laughs/memories, it just proves that more ppl are two-faced, which is to bad. Proph is a respected PLD, I agree but shit happens when unexpected. I just wish this was brought to my attention, before making it a public scene that isnt neccessary, we all sons and daughters of NA, so I expected a lil bit more respect.

Watch thats just BS, apparently you know nothign about the HNM game, its called HNm ethics you show your respect to enemy campers. FFXI's code is written so poorly that if you are not literally engaged to the mob it will go unclaimed sometimes its jsut the way its written. Proph was using the "Aquarious Chainspell" method to killing it. Just like how King Behemoth is Kited the pld is not initially engaged to the mob, thus he goes unclaimed and is stolen from competetors often.

Well where to start. I was in an exp party in Boyahda tree when my War/Nin says oh shit theres Aquarious.

I imediately send him a tell that Aquarious is up and he tellse me he is on his way. I keep him updated that hes still uncalimed for a bit then relize that a few other LS mates were there to camp him as well. Well i see Prophecy pop up near my party and i again message i think someones gonna claim it soon. Well i then see Aquarius go Purple (And let me tell u Prophecy hadnt cast shit). Aquarious starts runnin towards the left of my View with Prophecy close in pursuit. Sure enough just as Yoshindor said i they kited him until Twist was able to voke it,

hmmm, interesting.....
so aqua poped, and somehow decided to leave his spawn point and go to a hallway without someone claim it today eh? maybe you guys should make sure you telling the same story before u post here....
