Soooo when i was about 15 i fucked my knee up playing some hockey, and the pain was pretty unbearable, but it went away and the doctor said nothing was wrong with my knee it was all in my head, and 4 months ago i was running and my OTHER knee started throbbing just as bad, went to the doctor got some xrays of BOTH knees, the knee that was hurting was completley fine, the knee that i hurt when i was 15, well they wanted an MRI of it...

SOOO i get my MRI on my knee get a phone call from the doc about a week ago, and have been playing phone tag with him up untill about 2 hours ago.... I have a Benign tumor in my knee.. and thats all he could tell me i gotta talk to my other doctor about surgery and crap.... all i gotta say is Fuck that doctor in the in the stehoscope... ... the one who said my knee was fine 4 years ago

i could possibly smell the wiff of a fuckin lawsuit too, if this jacks up my career in the military ooo boy :(

Dude, that would royally suck. I hope everything works out. The first time you had the accident with your knee did they do X-rays or anything on it?
 
No, i had a purple bubble on my knee that i could move completley around my knee, and he was just like "*stare* your fine its just a bruise.." i highly doubt a bruise feels like a bag of water and is movable...
 
lucky it wasn't malignant, heh

by the way, tumours are usually stationary, connected to something, so his argument did have a little foundation
 
doesnt matter that i have a tumor fact of the matter is he didnt examine it properly :p
 
uhh there is a possibility i could get a honorable discharge out of this...
 
they found a pea size spot on my dads lung .xray didn't show much else. reexamination showed it got smaller. about 4 months later, i noticed dad limping, he said nothing was wrong. i forced him to go get checked on. xray showed broken hip but still nothing in lung . they did MRI.the upper portion of his lung was infected with cancer a very virulent form, it traveled across his rib down his back and into his hip where it got so big it cracked his hip. chem o ,hip replacement. chem o didn't take dad died 7 months later.i talked to my cousin who is a pulmonary specialist . . he told me sometime cancers are hard to find until its to late. some metathesized very fast, they may not be detected one day a few months later it spreads doctors don't know why. thank god its Benign novolo. hope every thing works out. looking back like you i think dad knew something was wrong before the doctors ,being a stubborn old school italian he never said anything. keep us posted with your prognosis . i got a feeling you will be ok :)
