fuck you all the people who think camping a NM who drop a rare/ex quest item is worth it, like mobogler(sp) for brown belt quest) fucking leave him alone if your not on the fucking quest, hes 21-24hour spawn, if you are not on the damn quest DONT KILL HIM.. people who need the item are bitching because they dont have 800k to spend on the damn belt and then you bitch at them for not having the belt. so all in all, dont kill nms for rare/ex shit if u rnt gunna use it in quest/equip... that is all

Yea i know everyone has a right if you help kill it, but could you stop being a fucking deuschebag for once and let the thf or drg or whatever have it? God knows most melee are too friggin poor and lazy to afford anything decent at least let them have something free that drops and they could use sheesh.

I seriously hate most video game players.

Next time you are out and about with your party and you run across Mystic or an NM that drops a mage only item like the earring I want you to lot on it if you helped kill him. Mages are the idiots who like to lot on the jerkin right? Well paybacks a bitch. Tell em you need it for your level 1 Blm that you plan to level next year.

Same goes with Wyvernpoacher because I know Rangers who have lotted on the jerkin as well. Seriously everyone, just start lotting on shit you don't need.

I will award bonus points if you throw it away right in front of the person who NEEDED it and tell them you didn't want it clogging your inventory on second thought.

God damn I'm in a bad mood tonight :P
 
Get this.... everyone and their fucking mom lotted on the jerkin when it dropped.... personally i think only the war drg and rdms should be lotting.Hell a pld doesn't need it!! but ah who cares i won the lot hehe. 8)
 
Oh, don't even get me started on this fucking mess. I am a Dragoon. I need the Assault Jerkin. It's not just something I want for farming. It is my end-game armour and I want/need it. Three times have I been in a party in Onzozo where we have killed Ose and gotten the drop. Not only do I lot shitty, but the people that win the jerkin with most likely NEVER USE IT! Twice I was outlotted by a RDM. One of the RDM, whose name I don't even fucking remember because I've stricken it from my mind wins the lot and says "What is it?" :evil: That fucking pissed me off so much, lotting on a Rare/Ex piece of armour she didn't even fucking know about. Then throwing in her bullshit "hehe Oh, it looks ugly" afterwards. I should have stabbed her in the face right there. And the third time, I lost on the lot to a Dark Knight. A fucking Dark Knight, who will never put the piece of armour on. If the item that dropped was worth something to them, sure ... lot .. go right the fuck ahead. But if you lot on something just because you can, FUCK YOU. Other people need it and won't just use it to take up inventory space. :evil:
 
I hear Morbolger drops Marlboro Fiber, which is why he's bot-camped 24/7 -_-

Can't stress how much I hate hearing about people lotting on Assault Jerkin when their highest melee is 10....unfortunately, I haven't/probably won't ever see that, 0/2 :roll:

What's pissing me off SOOOOOOOOOO badly right now are all of those people camping Profblix to get their level 30 rdm buddy and earring. F-!k you, they wouldn't be able to use it for weeks. I know several people who need one NOW. It's even worse when they have some 75rdm buddies camping the thing(and doing ALL the work) for them because they're totally screwing someone who may need it at that very moment, and is actually working for the thing so they'd actually DESERVE IT. ><

If someone in your party kills a mob and you did sh-!t = you don't deserve sh-!t. And if you're so low-level that you couldn't help if you wanted to, then guess what. I'm gonna go call for help on Charybdis. Or maybe I'll kill him in front of a party WARs who've been camping him for 10h, and give the Joyeuse to my level 50WAR buddy. It's ok, he'll need it soon. ¬_¬

Ive fought Ose 1 time, and I passed on everything that dropped, no Jerkin, but I didnt even lot on the Ose Wisker either. I never would even if it did drop. Its rare/ex, and I DO NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! feel like dicking someone over. Last night I offer Bigdaddy my help in killing Ose, if he did pop, which he never did :P, with a promisse that I would pass.

Now the Moldovite comment Vang ... if youre going to be like that, than people will lot on the Jerkin, and then toss it afterward. :roll: :roll: :roll: :roll:

if he drops fiber he hasn't never dropped it the 4 times I killed it while I was camping him, that sounds seriously bogus to me, also I never once encountered a bot
 
What the hell is the big deal with Assault Jerkin? Except for like DRGs and THFs no one should be lotting on that thing, Haubergan is not hard at all to get and is alot better... Just frigging save some gil.

As for rare/ex mobs in general... It is annoying as shit when people who have NO need for the item are camping it.

I may be wrong on that. I know back in September(ish), a person (Foxgirl or some crap) was camping in that room for at least 10 days straight..but yeh, still don't like people who camp quest NMs they don't need =P

It's pretty decent for rdm, I like using it for.. I don't know, just about everything outside a pt most of the time.
 
Really, though, on lotting on the Moldavite in retaliation, that's punishing a random BLM, RDM, etc -- probably innocent of any such doings -- because of a few asses who happen to be of the same job.

some people NEED IT FOR PT...

not saying you did something selfish for taking it, as i do not know the circumstances when you lotted for it. But other RDMs lotting on it because they say it can help them for farming etc., are being greedy when a THF or DRG in the party could use it for EXP.
 
Truthfully, I'd say whoever was there to kill the NM by all means go ahead and lot on the drops. You helped kill it after all. But of course there's the problem of whether or not the drop is worth anything to the player.

I'd personally pass unless I had a good use for it. And even then, there are still people who would need certain items more.
 
I agree with the OP. I couldn't get the claim to save my life. The NM is only level 40 or so, but i've seen a full party of 70+ camping him. What's worse is the people who are only doing it to sell off the damn belt, and are keeping the price so high. I had to buy one, and I'm going to have to finish the quest to get my black belt.

As for the stuff about lotting on items you can't/won't use. I agree that you have a say in lotting it if you help kill it; but seriously, if you aren't going to wear it at all, or if you've got months before you can use it, pass. Need before greed, people.
