anyone else watch? i got the whole sieries off Boxtorrents.com about a month ago. Its up there in my Top 10 anime, along with Hellsing and Evangelion

I even have a Roy Mustang Keychain :P

I saw a few episodes and thought it was pretty interesting. I'm not a big anime fan as it is, but it sure did make me giggle when that big dude was talking like a kid.

Thats because he is a kid. His body was lost, and his soul is bound to the armor.

Anyway, I love the series. Best Episode is the episode about Mustang and his men.

Havoc getting set up on a date with Armstrongs Sister was the funniest thing I've seen in a while.

I am hoping to get it from a friend soon. He loves it and tells me daily that I need to watch it. Hopefully it lives up to the hype.

the ending is a "tad" depressing, but its a standard anime style to do that.

also, just got the entire sound-track for it. sweet.

Great series. I was saddened when it was finished. Can't wait for the movie although they tend to end up just being pointless and a cash cow.

I finished the series right before cartoon network began showing it. It's an excellent series, and I loved Hughes(Skaw's avatar, best character). Can't wait until they finally bring Izumi into the story on cartoon network in august.

I agree with skaw about the episode. Mustang issuing an order to find Havoc a girlfriend is greatness.

I saw the series a little over a year ago and liked it enough that is it still on my computer after all this time, which is impressive since I usually delete stuff after I am done watching. But I just keep going back.

And my favorite episode is when Ed fights Greed for the last time. The fight just oozed style, even though it was not that long.

Yeah, Greed was one of the better villans of the sieries.

The Movie(Due to hit Japanese Theatres soon) ties up the loose ends involving Hoenheim of Light, Envy, and Edward, since all three are beyond The Gate. There are trailers here: http://www.fullmetalalchemist.info/moviegen.html

And I wouldn't really call Greed a villian. More like an anti-villian(Think opposite of Magus from ChronoTrigger,) since he has his own agenda, and isn't in league with the other 6 Homunculi. The saddest parts of the series are when they have to do with Al's emotions though. Barry the Chopper manipulating his love for his brother, and the other 2 big ones.

;)

And now, I ask those that've seen the series in it's entirety:

Dante and Gluttony: What do you think happened?

well, its probably safe to say that one of them is alive, and my money would be on Dante. Since if Gluttony was still around, he'd just go around eating everything in sight, and wouldnt be that hard to track down and eliminate.

Adult Swim will start airing more episodes sometime in August. Since they initially ran Episode 1-26, logically this means they are going to air the remaining 25 episodes. So it'll complete the run of the series for those that haven't seen it.

Unfortunantly, because of the deal with L'Arc~en~Ciel, without buying DVDs or obtaining the series through other methods, you're still stuck with seeing only the "READY STEADY GO" opening. Missing out on "Melissa," "UNDO," and "REWRITE" is kinda crummy.

yeah, missing out on the "Rewrite" intro would suck.

*starts listening to it*

haha, friend of mine (Chippie) made this for his avatar on another fourm.

gotta love the armstrong one.

yea i have all the Alchemist episodes on 2 CDs. althought they;re not in my possession in the moment, my RL friends have been hijacking them >< cartoon network left them at the worst possible place, that episode 25 or 26 is the real turn around for the series, i liked it before that episode, then i was *hooked* like no other after that.

Also, if u liked this anime, Bleach is another great one, and so is Naruto. Bleach can be downloaded via animesuki.com and Naruto at dattebayo fansubs.

Free, by the way =P
