Funniest Blind Invite so far (for me)

Took me forever to get a tele-taxi from Windy to Holla.
Got Invite for party in dunes.

(forgot hp) happens a lot.
Wife wanted me to go shopping with her so my party
ended before it started. Then I got aggro and died.

alone.

needed raise for HP then /shutdown for shopping ><
waited for 20 min. got a raise.

Before that I got a blind invite for a party WHILE I WAS DEAD.
(the guy was in visible range too)
Now that was the best one for me so far.

I know others have funny Blind Invite stories, what are yours?

not really the funniest or anything like that, but ive had an invite hit me within a half a second after logging in...the otehrs that i get all the time are when my search comments and bazaar comments say "no blind invites you noob, please ask first" honestly....can you people not read?!

if im hard up for a pt(sitting around for hours with no invite) then i will accept the invite and tell them they should ask first, however, on the cases i listed...i decline the invite till they get it right. typically they will be persistant and keep inviting

hmmmmmm back in September, I was lounging around
San d' oria when I got this random invite. I did a /search on who it was. It turns out that it was some lv1 guy with a question mark over his head.

I was thinking to myself "Ok....summerfest is over..." and the guy sends me a /tell saying "PLZ AKSEPT MY INVITE I NEED 2 DO QWESTS THAT GIVE EXPEEREANCE POYNTS!"

I just walk away trying to ignore him....but then he sends me another invite and then a tell saying "CAN U TELL ME HOW TO USE A HATCHET, IT WONT LET ME EQUIP IT" then "I ALWAYS USE KUNGFU PUNCHES WHEN I ATTACK!"

I bursted out laughing and decided to tell him what hatchets were for (logging) and I bought him a sword to use.

actually no they cant. search comment are pretty useless to most ppl who play ff11. when i used to farm as whm in the dunes id have my search comment saying things like "2k for a raise no exceptions", or "im busy dont bug me" and i still got tells from ppl asking for free raises or they'd ask me if i was still busy, so my natural response would b to ask if my search comment was still up, then they'd get pissed, call me a dick, and stop bugging me. but seriously tho, ppl really are that phucking stupid

True! Most don't read search comments nor are aware of the
existence of them. I myself have started the game June of this year
and have only recently discovered them.

There is NOTHING good about it except for the cardboard emote sheet.

and the only people that read the comments are people who don't
need them. My LS pipes in "Ha ha Duffman, your comment is funny"

actually sumtimes they're read by the ppl who are meant to see them. i got a gm called on me for one of my comments b4 by the person it was directed at. how was i supposed to kno they'd /sea for me

normally id im doing a search or going to invite someone i just enter the /tell through the search and if there is a comment it will bring it up and show me. oh well, phuk em

So I respond with:

10 mins go by and I see again:

So I respond again with:

Another 5 mins go by and I see once again:

Wow.................... Kinda makes me wonder what goes through the minds of some people in this game.
