Sorry never fought him. I heard that he uses many 2hrs from different jobs so i assumed he was very hard... my mistake again^^;

Damn i need to get Khidir back and hit 75
 
Kurrea is by far one of my favourite fights in the entire game. It's just so much fun wondering what he's gonna run back and get for his next onslaught.

Well, really the only hard item to get on that little list is the Storm Turban, since Appraisal Rates suck balls.

Rings 3000 AP from Leujaoam Sanctum. You can get this easily doing both the first and second assault missions under the recommended cap with 3 people. Hell, just the second mission under the rec. cap and 3 people, that kicks out 4000 AP on the first time bonus alone.

Belt's 8000 AP from Periqia, snooze-fest missions that aren't hard. A solid 4 person group can rock Seagull Grounded and Requiem without trouble.

Cape is <20k gil now, get one. Bow is 200k, cheaper if you get the dropped -1 and upgrade it yourself.

What were your blms doing while that was casting? Touching themselves on the backrow of the fight? pffft.

So if I'm understanding right, this guy periodically returns to his spawn for another random buff. Forgive me if this is a dumb question, but would it be feasible to pull him far from his spawn and Bind/Gravity/Nuke him to death before he could make it back for more soup?

I bet he resists both of those doesn't he? -.-
 
Assault breastplate and other resistance stuff is far more valuable than people think they are.Not sure if pld can wear it though

Kurrea resists Stun. You also can't Shadowbind him and many other things that make the fight exponentially harder.
 
resist gravity and bind it is however a matter of luck to win this. either the fight can go on for 2 hours(our longest) or it can be over in 10 minutes(our shortest) depends how much of a bish he decides to be.

But if he hit u for that much that means he must have increased Aero Spell Damage Power Up more than once...
