Not a whole lot to say, the picture pretty much covers it....

Training xp mobs while multiple pts were there xping. There is no valid reason to be doing it other than to be an asshole.

Apparently the gil sellers are trying to take over that lucrative rock salt market...

 They're moving in on Falsey's territory now since he's gone. But.. I guess they get their news a little on the slow side.. being in china and all. =o

lol. Well sometimes I skill up things that are like really low on Crabs in Qufim Island....but I always go do it like out in the midst of the Wights and Giants. Where few Clipper PT's pull from, generally down around the Kraken area.

Ran into this wonderful guy in kazham...

He takes them down toward yhoator and holds them so they'll never respawn within exp partys' pulling range.

Calling a GM shortly... Also can we not turn this into a Chinese-bashing thread because some guy you don't even know is a cockass and you assume he's Chinese?

Furyrush is a known gil seller... goes along with Asurathief and crew, and they are chinese. Hell I've had a conversation with Nuki (old Ordell's Caves gilseller crew) they are chinese, they are gil sellers, they work in little huts.

It's nothing against chinese people in general. These people just happen to be chinese, and the matter of fact that most gil sellers are indeed based in china and are chinese. Not trying to offend.

Well.. maybe not huts (darn you no edit button) but small buildings.

Actually Furyrush was part of Krebs crew (+Bluelemon, Raman etc)... and different people were playing each character from day to day. All asses except one of the Bluelemons who was pretty cool...

Furyrush used to be a DRK though... suited him more I thought...

Just to follow up, I called a GM while this was going on. Took about 20 minutes to get a reply and the GM gave me the typical "We'll investigate" line. Did /sea about 10 minutes later and he was still in Qufim so... *shrugs* Just checking now I see he's still in Yuhtunga. Good to see that nothing's done about this crap.

Yeah Rappa, we saw him out there too tonight. He brought them over to our camp and said "FU CK YOU". A BLM friend of mine from my linkshell slept them all and wiped them out with a Thundaga III. Respawns galore :D

How does he have them all claim'd????

I've always wanted to mess around with Gil Sellers-- Hell, I've done it
before...

It's about as funny as that "KingSimurgh.WMV" video.

I'll give you an example-- Peep this out.

Since I've completed Lv. 75 WAR/NIN, I've begun taking BRD/WHM to
75 now as my next job. Now around when I was Lv. 54 or so... I was
EXPing in Kuftal Tunnel. Camping the Cape Terrigan zone line.

(Blackmagik was a little upset with both my party and his party there.
I explained that I suggested we not camp the Western Altepa Desert
zone because people have a delightful habit of training Haunts to the
zone... And Haunts move slow as hell when they de-aggro and make
their way back to camp. Like one foot every 30 seconds.)

Well... Alot of high level people, who were only going to do god-knows-
what in Cape Terrigan kept starting massive trains of Robber Crabs to
the Cape zone. People are too lazy to stop and re-sneak themselves when
their sneak wears, I guess. So they make a break for the zone. In any
case...

One train happens... then another... another... and yet another...

Two of which were from Jaychou's little "crew".

Turns out me and my PT were the "innocent bystanders" of a little
"Gil-Seller Amemet Skirmish".

Gil Sellers are starting to show a bit of tact, but these little "civil wars"
still should not take place. One of the trains was caused by their Mithran
THF... Byotn-- err... yeah. You know who I mean. She / He did something
decent, if I remember correctly. Byot saw us at camp, with a train on
her tail... Stopped... Hit "Perfect Dodge", and waited for us to zone and
actually took a death.

Then Jaychou comes up and Raise 3's his buddy. He says in /say:

"Dahe MPK!!! Dahe MPK!!! (danger)!!"

So I shoot a /tell to Dahe, since he's in the area (most likely in the
Amemet room), but I didn't know Dahe was Chinese as well. His English
needs a whole lot of work...

Both him and Jaychou spoke alot of ass-backwards English, and the
Leader of my PT didn't understand what they were trying to say at all.

But somehow I managed to "decipher" it.

Basically the situation was this.

Jaychou & Dahe are Rival Gil-Sellers.
They are fighting to claim Amemet.
Jaychou knows for a fact that Dahe will try to MPK him.
Dahe tries to MPK Jaychou.
Byot /assists her friend Jaychou, and saves him by deliberately
causing a train. Moving any mobs that can be used to MPK away
from the Amemet room and zoning them. Giving Jaychou a
sporting chance.
My group gets caught in the cross-fire.
Jaychou "cries Wolf" and tries to warn us that Dahe MPKs people.
Jaychou threatens Dahe with a GM call.
Dahe gets scared and Logs off.

Ugghhh.... I told that to Jaredfromsubway, and he got pissed (not surprisingly).

I think he wanted to MPK them as well. Hahaha

He's in a party with at least as many members as claimed mobs.

Strange to see Gilsellers take time off from farming to just generally mess with anyone around though. I guess that's how they relax....

You should see them fight over the Phantom Worm....It's hilarious...Binding veloceraptors next to the worm seems to be the most effective method.

If i had to guess what this was about, and believe me this is just a guess, I'd say its gil sellers trying to slow down new gil sellers from leveling. Think about it, you've got a job that keeps getting harder and harder, inflation and deflation keeps deystroying the market systems you set up, and then the government (SE) starts killing off (banning) or otherwise getting in the way of your business every update.

the only way gil sellers are going to continue to survive is by working towards a monopoly so they can control the price of gil. And thats not going to be easy with a steady stream of competition starting up all the time. The obvious solution is to get your high level competion banned, and slow down the low levels working their way up so that their companies can't make money fast enough to pay for the workers leveling the chars.

I'll bet if you /sea the area hard enough while furyrush is there, you'll find low level seller groups trying to xp. Old school choking out new meat before it can really do anything to defend itself. The actual people who play the game are becoming the innocent bystanders to their wars, and whats funny is that when enough people get tired of it and quit, there won't be anybody left to buy their gil.
