Finally lol. I went on a stubborn bout and was wracking my brains on how to beat this damn thing, and every time I'd lose it'd be down to just a sliver of life left. Finally did it though, and Demonsbane is a nice treat from that win XD.
 
grats, i just did a 19 hit black hole and one-shotted him with my weak party, was a li'l bit ticked when i fought the second one....

Nice, lol, I have no such luck with Quickenings. Although the quickening that won it, was a 15 hitter. Followed up with another set by Penelo, which ended in a 9 hitter. Totally vanquished the damn thing.

Zone in and out of Raithwall's tomb completely and keep checking for Demonsbane. Can actually do this numerous times, it's a cheap, lame, easy way to farm gil.

exit 2 zones back and return for chest to repop, i aquired 4 demons banes
 
I only got one, since I only had 1 sword user, and I had 300k at that point in game anyways, so didn't need gil. And I still haven't beat the Tomb yet, so I could get more if I wanted.

Heh, yeah, I do, just try not to make it sound so "I'm better than you" >_> Seems kinda obnoxious sometimes. My first game I was only 50 when I beat the game, now on my 2nd save, I'm level 20 and I haven't even gotten Penelo yet, lol, it's a lot of fun.
 
Didn't mean to make it sound like that lol, sorry >>, I really need to advance the story though, but the mindless slaughtering of mobs is too fun
 
lol, it's cool, and yes you do, the storyline is so <333333. Although, mindless Inferno/Torrenting/Cataclysming Werewolves is enjoyable too '-' After this I'm gonna go farm a Gladius for Vaan then kill Werewolves melee instead. '-'
 
Yea that gladius has helped me a lot, I got it a long ass time ago, damn wolf almost killed me like 50 times before I finally stole it >>, but damnnnn it was pimp at that point in the game.
Hell, I still use it on Vaan(my dagger user) only cause I haven't gotten anything better yet, but the demonsbane is lotsa fun too
Then after I got the gladius I remember magic aggroing a gnoma entite that almost kicked my ass, and I hadn't saved yet, woulda sucked having to steal it again lol

Yeah, I was comparing Daggers to other things on my end-game save, and Daggers seem to be -really- efficient, they multi-hit so often, and granted their damage is a bit lower, but they attack faster as well as multi-hitting more often. Wish I could Parse it, lol. Still would like to get one of the katanas from these werewolves.... Killed I think 45+ of em so far, still no drop. Ah well. Can't wait to get home and play FFXII more :( DAMN COLLEGE DESIGN PROJECT!
 
Aeriel in Lhusu is starting to piss me off too, 20+ deaths and still no damned golden armor drop ><, gonna give up on him and start farming the Wild Saurian in Estersand, hope for some bone armor drops
 
For Gold armor, why not just farm the items to get it to pop in Bazaar? That seems quicker, at least to me. Bone Mail is a good deal though, that one's not so bad, at least it wasn't on my last game. I'm proud to say I got Bone Mail from Saurian without even using a guide '-'b. I said to myself "This guy -has- to have something good.... They wouldn't put him here otherwise...
 
Which items get it to pop in bazaar? And only way I know about bone mail from Saurian is from here lol, someone posted he dropped it in one of these threads.

Edit: Found it, Ah, tanned hides and dark stones I know where to get, but iron carapaces? Don't think I've run across those yet
