Game Masters, What do you think of them?

Okay, so I just finished reading the glitch=GM=bad idea post or whatever the title was. How many of you that are talking about the GM's being on a power trip have actually spoken with a GM from FFXI? Do they always have an attitude? Has anyone spoken with any humble GM's or at least GM's that dont take themselves too seriously?

I'm not trying to attack anyone I just want to know what you guys think of the GM's in FFXI. I dont care about the other games cause I never played them. So tell me who you talked to and if they were a good GM or just plain rude.

I have only called on a GM twice. Once I became stuck and couldn't move and the other time was to report a new character who was harrasing me and otherwise trying to make my life hell. In both cases the GM's were very nice, symapthetic and were able to help me quickly and with no attitude or without seeming like they were on a power trip.

I'd vote.. but I've never seen or met one. However from what I've read of others posts here they seem pretty cocky ..but they are just doing their job too.

seems like more of a flameboard topic, but aigh yea they tentd to over do it sometimes. or they "investigate" and nothing seems to happen

i voted good for nothing, ive never met one to decide rude and pompus, but ive called GMs 3 times, on some noobs that got stuck in the giddeus puddle (not sure if you've ever seen it) and other glitches like that, and not once did a GM show up, so i just told the victem to alt+tab and hope you can come back + move

I've only had a good experaince with the GMs. some guy was making racial remarks in Sandoria so I told a GM, he was nothing but nice and friendly and very helpfull ^^

I've never actually had to call on the services of a GM or vice versa, had their services called on me...so I remain indifferent of them. :wink:
