Game randomly closes

I do not know what is going on, but just today my FFXI randomly closes. And I am not talking like an error pops up or anything, I am talking, everythin and just my desktop shows.

Does anyone know what is going on at all...or what I have to do to fix it.

And befre you ask, I do not have any .dats mising or changed or removed. So please do not tell me I do, cause I do not.

Ever since the last update the quality of the game I am getting has been horrible. I play on PS2 and have never had issues with lag or d/c to the extent to which I do now. So basically, I think they fucked something up.

I think that might be because the game now checks every .dat you're near to see that you didn't remove any or that it's the wrong one <.<;

I am talking to a GM now...he seems to be a bit...retarded and is rnning me around in circles...WTF

That happened to me quite a bit, and the problem turned out to be a combination of a bad router and outdated video drivers.
