Game recomendations for the PSP.

i have a PSP again. YES I HAVE FFT FOR IT!

but for additional games......well the name says it all. i was at a GameStop today browsing, but nothing really caught my eye.

any sugestions?

Star Wars battlefront 2, gripshift, crush(I hear it's good but haven't had a chance to get it yet), and don't forget FF7: Crisis core next month...

Other than ones mentioned, there's Wild ARMs: XF(another tactics game like FFT, although using the HEX battle system from WA4/5) and God of War: Chains of Olympus next month.

Already released titles not mentioned there's a Valkyrie Profile port, Ratchet and Clank: SM(although being ported to PS2 last I heard), MGS: Portable Ops, the Castlevania on it, I enjoyed Brave Story quite a bit too, and probably more I'm forgetting. Oh and if you want yet another FFI/II port there's those as well But I'd advise not being a sucker like me... but the graphics are definitely spruced up for these versions.

Now if only Suikoden I/II and Breath of Fire III for PSP released stateside, I could die happy...

Ah well, I'll keep my fingers crossed that Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep, Star Ocean and Star Ocean 2 all get released here.

FFI and FFII for the PSP are good ^^;

Monster Hunter Freedom 2 is good fun as well.

Import Crisis Core. Its worth playing it in JP kanji, plus it includes English instructions (Just in case ^^). The PSP is region free for games so you won't have to worry about getting another.

Thats pretty much every PSP game I have so far. I also have FFT and thats a godly PSP game. Thank you Shakespearean actors!

Yggdra Union is a great (but highly difficult...) tactical game (it's SRW-style, mind you)
Riviera: The Promised Land is also a rather fun but difficult game with multiple endings and a...interesting sense of humor at times.

I think you'd like both quite a bit.

Seconded. Jeanne d'Arc is very good. My PSP was an expensive paperweight until I bought that game.

Silent Hill Origins isn't bad, although it's being ported over to the PS2 if you'd rather play it there.

But I wouldn't import Crisis Core. The North American release is next month, and there are plenty of games to keep you busy until then.

Monster Hunter Freedom 2 is pretty good, although I didn't get very far in it before being distracted by other shiny objects. There's a new edition of it coming out which will include the option of installing game data over to a memory stick for faster load times.

I was looking at the Metal Gear Ac!d titles one day and almost bought them, can anyone recommend for/against them? I assume the Portable Ops is just a remake of the older title(s) in the series from the looks of it.

I've heard a lot of mention of Monster Hunter Freedom 2, Disgaea, and Tales of the World, could anyone give more details about these? I'd rather not rely on reviews by most of the popular sites, they seem rather biased these days in my opinion.

Still <3 the nice FFT remake though, it's the main reason I bought a PSP all over again XD

Metal Gear Acid were card-based games if I remember correctly. Portable Ops is a new full game, not a remake.

Disgaea is a great game along with Monster Hunter. I haven't tried Tales of the World yet though.

I just picked up Parappa the Rappa for $20 lol I remember it from my PS1 days and remember it being fun, and it still is, just pretty short. Worth the $20 in my opinion though.
