I think The Orange Box hits the PS3 this week. The reason it runs like drippy donkey dick on the PS3 is because it got farmed out and the Valve team had no hand in putting that port together. It's a shame, because it's easily one of the best gaming releases this year in terms of value and sheer fun.
 
Thanks to all that voted. I was hoping for a landslide to make my choice easier, but its still real close.

I think what you need to do is look to the future Falsey. Yeah, each system has their exclusives and stuff now, but in 2 years, what games will you want to play that will be exclusive to each system? So far for PS3, they still have FF13 (and the others coming out with it) and MGS3 as the 2 big ones. XB360 will have Ninja Gaiden 2, Halo Wars, and someone help me out here, not sure what else 360 is getting that is exclusive.

If you get a system to play the games that are out now without looking at what is comng out, you will probably end up disappointed.

There is no planned Kingdom Hearts for the PS3 right now.

The 3 sequal/prequels that were announced were for PSP, DS, and cell phones.

Cell phones was a side thing, ds was a special version, and psp was the prequel that the extra endings showed.
 
Yeah, KH3 hasn't even been started, let alone confirmed.
 
But someone told me to think of the future. I'm pretty sure that KH is PlayStation onry.

This changes everything.

WHAT?! WTF?! Someone lied to me... >< I'm fuckin pissed now. I was told there was a confirmation on a third console game for the PS3...

I'm sure we'll still get one eventually, but now it's gonna be alot longer than I thought.
 
xbox 360 imo.
I love the wide game selection, being able to private chat with my friends if i dont just wanna play games, or being able to do that while i am playing games, be it single player or multiplayer. much cheaper than a phone call for my friends who moved or are in the army. Classic arcade games with added multi player support.
Having a video rental spot that gives me a choice of HD or standard whenever i want.
Being able to stream any video from my PC to my xbox for watching movies when i dont wanna burn it to a dvd.
Achievements that are fun to get because otherwise you would not have a reason to pull off some of the stuff achievements require in a game,(bowing over 10 zombies with bowling balls etc)
And besides halo, theres way more than halo that makes xbox fun. I barley even play halo anymore honestly. i downloaded the new maps this week and only played once.
DLC is always good, lots of add ons and new features added to games you love, sometimes free add ons too!
Love vision cam to see people you have not seen in awhile....or for cybering in your into that sorta thing XD

First of all, unlike the Xbox 360, the PS3 is DivX certified meaning it will get full DivX functionality. This even allows for developers to utilize the solid form of compression for various in-game cut scenes.

I said think to the future, but of things that were true lol The creator of KH3 keeps getting the red light any time he tries to get the OK. SE has no plans of letting him continue at this point.

That and SE has announced they're going for more multi-platform releases and they're going to try to focus on the American market more; meaning that the PS3 isn't doing well enough to release exclusively for, so they're going to start making things for 360 as well. That could easily lead to KH3, whenever they decide to make it, being on the 360 and the PS3 as well. Deciding on a PS3 because of a single SE game now isn't the best idea.
 
I just bought the 80g ps3 with Assassins Creed! :P
 
Hopefully you didn't buy it for the KH game that probably won't be coming for a very long time.
