hehe, interesting. Anyone care to agree? Disagree? I don't really know myself. I know a few games for the Wii I enjoy, a few for PS3, and a few for 360 most for each though give me a "meh" kinda feeling.

This chart they used cant really be considered credible but the shovelware they talk about is 100% true and is in my opinion why Wii will not reach PS2 like numbers. Sure it has beaten the numbers in a short race but there just is not enough in its future. Most of the games are a bust. They had a breakthrough with Mario Galaxy, man it is truley a great game. Smash bros is the same game as the Cube, tho that cube game was just fine, its just lame to release the same damn thing years later. Mario Kart is just damn bad, it is not as good as the old one by a long shot. These games will sell great i am sure but with them being kinda "Meh" it makes all the shovelware games stick out hard.

They only make this shovelware for the console with the most sales, that's why there's so much for the Wii and not the 360/PS3. But almost no one buys "shovelware" anyways(maybe 5-10,000 units sold ever), so the fact that there's a lot of it doesn't effect the console in the first place. If someone's dumb enough to buy one, they're going to smarten up so they don't waste their money again or they deserve to lose it. The presence of it doesn't effect the console in the slightest.

Congrats to him for pointing out something that no one cared one iota about and making it seem like it's an issue of the utmost importance.

To be honest if my Wii wasn't a Christmas present I wouldn't care to own it. I don't and probably will never own a PS3. I'd settle for just a 360. Right now it's everything I could ever want out of a console. The majority of titles out now on all consoles is complete garbage but I require very little in my happiness of games. I could settle for one good title, if it has multiplayer a year. Considerin' this year (not by the calender just a time period of 12 months) I got PSU (though be it off by a few months it still makes my hapiness cut), CoD4, and will be gettin' UT3, I'm set until next gen, if I had to be.

I have to agree... The Wii doesnt have a lot of titles going for it... It makes me sad. Even while I own several of the major titles from nintendo on the wii, I still get more fun out of 360 games. My wii only really collects dust, but for some reason... I refuse to sell it. I dont know why. Maybe its because Im just waiting for that great nintendo game to come along. idk.

The Wii would be tons better with just an online play upgrade, alone. The Friends Code system is absolutely pathetic. You should be able to load up SSBB, Mario Kart, etc. and be able to do everything that's so great about X Box Live. Without that, my system just collects dust. I couldn't be bothered with single player games these days, owning them at least. If PangYa (Super Swing Golf) even had online playability the system would be a dream to have. I'd suffice with havin' to deal with the shitty Friend Codes system for that. As of now the Wii, to me, is the ultimate failure. Enough with the "innovation" if you aren't even "with the times" to begin with.

true, good online capability would more than fix the wii. Or at least give it a kick in the right direction.

Ive lost my interest in SSBB due to the crap for online it has... No chatting, no inviting people, the anonymous groupings blow hard.... Nothing we can do about it, maybe nintendo will make a better console suited for onlilne next time around. Instead of forcing child safety down our throats, maybe they can put a new kind of parental lock on the console to limit what the kids see/hear automatically instead of having to depend on big mouth parents.
