Why does noone ever do this? Do the rewards just blow? I'm I missing something? Has everyone just happened to do it when I'm not on for 2 years?

I did a garrison a few weeks ago. The drops are like, some Mannequin parts, a gun, and a few other tidbit items. It's similar to a BCNM where, Your Garrison thing, your drops. And between 18 people, many people find if pointless, especially because if you die, you lose exp like in normal BCNM.
 
Mostly crap drops except from the really high-level Garrisons, and pick-up versions of Garrisons are just no. And LS-setup ones are, well, rare...so...yeah, no one does em really.
 
There are some really good Armor drops in the higher lvls But lower lvls it just tends to be mann parts and military weapons.

Variable Ring is from 40 or 50 cap and it gives +28~ mp while in garrison and at a 40 cap i noticed a good 80+ mp from the rings. but they don't sell on AH so knowing the price is a bitch.
 
KietaroPrime does Garrison weekly, or at they used to. I'm not sure if they do it anymore.
 
Been doing them every friday for years

lvl 50 cap drops earring that have the "demon killer" "dragon killer" effects of intimidation, worth a few mil. there are actually quite a few nice drops from these. In all honesty, a much better money maker than gods will ever be. plus, theres no competition.

Just because youre not involved in game events doesnt mean they dont happen.
 
I try to organize this with my LS once a month. (lvl 20 West Ronfaure) We split the profits from the items that are dropped, after they sell at the AH. A few months ago the profits were pretty big, but lately I think more LS's have been doing these or else people no longer need garrison equipment because there have been a ton on sale, and as usual people undercut quite a bit >_<

In the end its not about the profits though. There's a lot of fun to doing these with your linkshell :)
 
Ever see Lenneth shouting to sell manequin parts every day? ya, they sell so good. i don't even know where the manequin quest npc is lol
 
ive collected enough manni legs and feet to make a manniquin centipide ... if only i could ever get a manniquin body and head.

oh, and yeah. Keitaro, garrison, every friday, for years.

Garrison makes Sharpe /angry.

Love Sharpe (A BRD who doesn't garrison and now has to save up for a Military Harp, even though i've got other things I need)
