I, KyRen, finally finished my Red Mage Artifact Armor last night!!! Even though I can't wear it at the moment it was a great feat becaus now I can put the armor away into storage while I am leveling a different job!!
***Note: This will be corny beyond belief. If you cannot stomach tons of corn in a short time, DO NOT read the following post.***
A special thanks has to go out to the kind players who helped me last night:
Truevillagepigg, you scarificed your own CC so no one had to face the mob itself. You had also summoned your NPC who eventually died from all the AoE attacks but it was a death that would not go unnoticed. You eventually put yourself infront the doll to prevent anywho from taking more hits when Amerilla had died.
Amerilla, the most cunning theif in all the lands!!! You put stared into deaths eyes into self but that would not have stopped you from dealing over 1k damage before it turned to you and relentlessly hit till you were down for the count. Your death was the noblest deed I have seen from a theif to date.
Bravo, what can I say about you. You kept the rest of the party alive while I was resting from using too much MP at the beginning of the fight. Good luck on finding your coffer in Garlaige, cause you deserve it.
Eithen, well, you weren't their for the fight at all. You had fallen into a hole and when we had gone through the gate you were trying your best to reach it in time. When we had to escape and regroup you were more than ready to help us again... But eventually you gave up cause I died trying to get you to your coffer. I am not saying you were impatient, you just were dealing with connection problems so you became angry and took it out on us ...
Anywho, this is how the fight had gone. We reached into the room and killed all the skeletons that were going to link when sneak wore when we popped the doll. True took his CC and made it tank throughout the fight only losing hate when we had done a weapon skill or skill chain. I was in the back lines healing those how were taking damage form the AoE. Eventually I ran out of mp and had to heal. Amerilla did Sneak Attack and a Dancing Edge and did over 1k damage but put herself into danger because the crab was not able to hold hate. Anywho, Amerilla went down and Bravo was spamming cures on True to keep him alive so I did not have two deaths on my mind. Eventually the mob went down and I got my nail puller. When I was about to trade the nail puller to the Oaken Box, I clicked enter twice(because i was excited) and POPPED THE DOLL AGAIN!!!! Good thing I had Chainspell and Escape macro'd cause everyone made it out alive and the mob had despawned by the time we arrived.
Thank you to the brave souls who put their lives on the line (some lives were cut thought [sorrys again Amerilla]).
Now for the rest of the other people who helped me with my other AFs:
Ceas, Achillas, and Xile for the AF Weapon.
My exp party in Crawler's Nest who let me lot the key drop for my AF Feet.
Bookitty for dying for my AF Hands and teaching me that even though she was 75, she did not care that she lost exp to Dark Spark, she did care that I got my AF.
Gacace, Achillas, Bookitty, Ewok, Cayb (i think) for coming out the second day and sucessfully killing Dark Spark.
Ryoufu for getting your endgame LS to help me get my coffer key and coffer for my AF Legs.
Weiing and Anderoc (i think again T.T) for getting my hardest key in Castle Otoz-something-or-other and the coffer.
Without your help I would not be a "Paragon of Red Mage Excellence" ^.^
