Might have spelled his name wrong but it's something like that, Was in a pretty decent party this weekend in Valley of Sorrows... when we weren't waiting for a replacement we were getting around 5k/hr. Brd needed to leave so we got a replacement and started waiting. nobody wanted to fight while we waited... So I went afk to get something to eat and drink. a little while later (I was checking back every so often to see if brd was there) I here what sounds like a battle so I rush back to find my party gone and me face down in the dirt... Well the Blm who is named above decides to mess around with the new anti mpk system cause it's "cool" well on his third mob he's running to the zone his life gets down to red and tank voked... everyone zoned except me and I died.


First Flame ever, not very good I guess but oh well.

Stuff woulda depopped if it got zoned and he had zero hate. He only died cause he AFKed while resting (which caused a little hate).

I don't think so... I just did a search for everythread I've ever started and this is the only one on flameboards... I did make an ass out of myself a while back... but I'd rather pretend that didn't happen ^^

Also on the resting getting hate thing. this was the third time he did it. I think resting would only get hate if multiple party members do something to the mob... either way ... don't fuck around with mobs that can own you unless everyone can get to saftey.

If anyone in the party gets hate (or even agro), someone in the party resting automatically steals a little hate. It's kindof a pain, but it's true. This is also why mages resting mid-party when the mob is wailing on them/tank is barely keeping it off them = kinda bad.
