I never said it was made for the assholes and extremists, I said it was those people that tarnish the point behind the parade. I never said they had no right to be angry about things, I said and shall once again, that the people who do crap like demanding "more rights than other to make it 'equal'" damage the point of the celebration.

That whole thing on media - I don't even watch TV. Occasionally Family Guy, but I often have other things to do.

Furthermore, I never said forget the past. Ever. Go look, my post didn't magically change. I said, in fact, that I like celebrations, but I loathe the people who make the absolute worst out of what should be a step forward worth cheering for.

Let’s lay down some facts since your “NO PROOF” theory falls flat on its face:
There are a number of theories as to why people end up homosexual, all of which do not involve CHOICE.

Many species of animals, up to and including mammals (and even those cuddly dolphins), engage in homosexual activities. Scientists are still studying the effects of homosexuality in nature but are unable to really promote any study. Mostly because our wonderful president is a huge douche bag and should burn in a thousand suns for his view on other people’s lives. There are a number of reasons homosexuality happens in nature NATURALLY, though: (1) Too many of a species, (2) Learning sexuality/bonding through members of the same sex (more easily identifiable and easier to connect with), ect. 2. There are physcological differences between gay men and lesbians: (1) Three
regions of the brain (medial prefrontal cortex, left hippocampus, and right amygdala) are more active in gay men than non-gay men when exposed to sexually arousing material. (2) The average size of the INAH-3 in the brains of gay men is approximately the same size as INAH 3 in women, which is significantly smaller, and the cells more densely packed, than in heterosexual men's brains (3) Gay and non-gay people's brains respond differently to two human sex pheromones (AND, found in male armpit secretions, and EST, found in female urine)(4) Gay and non-gay people emit different armpit odors

3. Innate bisexuality (or predisposition to bisexuality) is a term introduced by Sigmund Freud (based on work by his associate Wilhelm Fliess) that expounds that all humans are born bisexual but through psychological development (which includes both external and internal factors) become monosexual, while the bisexuality remains in a latent state.

4. Homosexual sexual behavior occurs in the animal kingdom, especially in social species, particularly in marine birds and mammals, monkeys, and the great apes. Homosexual behavior has been observed among 1,500 species, and in 500 of those it is well documented

So you are comparing homosexuality to mental and physical defects and viruses? I'd like to think of it as either a choice, or POSSIBLY a difference in the make-up of the body. Not a mutation or defect.

I read likely more than the average household, let alone person. I rarely speak without personal experience or read knowledge.
Also, "most"? Please, if you wish to insult my intelligence with the "read sometime", at least show more than one instance. Also, might and maybes are far from proof. I said there is no proof, there is no factual evidence. I never ever said there is no possibility whatsoever. Right now, at best, it's a theory. When it's proven, I will acknowledge it.
I am one person however, so who cares if I believe it or not? :)

Boredom has existed though. Homosexuality, as you proclaim, is genetic. Therefor people would be born gay correct? This was not true(or at least, not obviously so) in historical texts.

Yes, Achilles and Alexander were known for being bisexual, not homosexual. Yes, Greek men laid with one another in the military.

Why? Well, when you are surrounded by nothing but men all day every day... see prison but without the forcing.

I have no factual proof that homosexuality is choice. It is how I was brought up, everything I read, everything I saw, and all I was taught. It also is how I live.
When I see facts proving otherwise, I will admit my inaccuracies and accept them. I have no malice in either way.

I just wanted to point out, "minorities"(which vastly outnumber the so-called majority now?) are not the only targets of persecution. I have friends who got the shit kicked out of them for being white downtown. Nothing else.


And lastly, to Bluefrost(sorry for the longer post..) I'm so sorry to hear that. I think it's despicable that anyone's race or gender should EVER come into play anywhere.
However I also find it unfair that for being white, my chances to get into University of Michigan are severely hurt because minorities get ~40pt jump over whites.
Also, my best friend got passed up on being a police officer because he was white and the guy who got it? scored TWELVE POINTS LOWER, but was hispanic and fit their quota.

So it goes both ways.

Don't take what he said out of context. He's not saying homosexuality is a mutation or a defect or is similar to one. YOU said nature making people homosexual was self-defeatist because of the inability to procreate. The point is, that is no more self-defeatist than nature making someone sterile at birth or giving them some kind of disease that prevents them from being able to conceive or carry a pregancy to term. And being that nature does that with more regularity than you think, that kinda shoots your little theory right down.

Please... do NOT turn this into something religious. You can't paint all "gays" with the same brush, it goes the same way for Christians. It goes the same thing for all religions, races, sexes, creeds, lifestyles etc.
