Im sure everyones seen it, heard it, and wonder if a chain gun will even dent that mechanical spider. But what I wanna know is, the main theme song of the game commercial is sung by who? If anyone is able to provide me with this info, would really appreciate it. Thxs
 
Just so you know Tears for Fears originally did that song.

I like Gary Jules version better myself. It was on "Donnie Darko" Soundtrack if you have any trouble finding it.
 
yeah its more widely known for the amazing donnie darko movie, which gary jules actually recorded the song for.

Yea, that songs is really awsome for that commercial. Its just, perfect really. Not the typical battle music, much more creative. Best commercial for a game I've seen in a while :P

really? I was told Gary Jules made it first *shrugs* oh well.. I like his more too.. hehe
 
Too bad Im' not buying a bloody 360 for one game.

Besides that song blows thanks to its video.

Notice how the Wii isn't showing half as many commercials as the 360 and Ps3

never knew a video could make a song suck. Mad world...

and if you look at the future line up of 360 games, you certainly wouldnt be buying it for one game....lost odyssey, Blue dragon, Assasins creed, halo wars, halo 3, The darkness, GTA (now an xbox exclusive) and if rumors are true, Capcom is in discussions to go xbox exclusive...meaning Devil may cry, Resident evil etc will be 360 onry. during tokyo game show my list grew from only wanting maybe 4 games to well over 30 games, i was pretty surprised at the great line up.
 
GTA isn't XBox exclusive. You're simply getting it at the game's launch instead of getting months after Sony. The GTA series will still be on the PS3. It's true the XBox Live crowd will be able to download exclusive files and missions, but the PS3 crowd will also be given exclusive files and missions of their own as well.

In other news, I was going to get a 360 anyway but playing Gears of War at Halifirien's apartment really moved it up on the timetable for me.

You fail. The song/commercial is bomb you are just jealous. And yeah no shit the 360 has more commercials than the wii, its been our for a year and the wii hasnt even been released yet, its kind of common sense which you seem to lack.

The Tears for Fears version is awesome, minus the random trumpet/harpsicord type interjections here and there
