Generally goddamn annoying - Summerfest Music

I've been spending time in the Dunes for the sole purpose of avoiding this horrible horrible music.

I worked in a chinese restaurant for three years. I still love chinese food, but I can't stand faux-asian music.

The worst was at christmas, because they had FAUX-ASIAN CHRISTMAS MUSIC. :x
 
Erm ..., there isn't a single game out there where the soundtrack doesn't get highly annoying after the first 15 minutes. I play(ed) with sound off and MP3s on.
 
What's annoying is the freaking fireworks that go off for 40% of the time your inside or around a city. For god's sake how many years have they been stockpiling fireworks now that they can let off thousands upon thousands of fireworks awhile at the same time driving me more batty than the city spammers from hell.

First day was cute. But after two weeks of the crap it's about time they got rid of it. This is more annoying than the Easter Egg party they had. And I really hated the Easter Egg thing...

My sound has been set to 0% for two weeks because /blacklist add Fireworks doesn't get rid of the damn things.
 
OMG, screw Winamp5, Winamp 2.91 all the way baby!
Anything higher than 2.x is just another Windows Media Player, bloated piece of junk! WA 2.91 takes a whooping 4 MB RAM with custom skin, beat that. Not that one really cares about RAM these days anymore, but still.

And yeah, thread about to be hijacked!
 
It's worlds better than the normal Sandy music :shock:
 
One of the downsides of having the PS2 version is it's obviously impossible to run winamp in the background.

That's what an iPod and the FFXI soundtrack as MP3's are for. :D
 
I don't mind the music--I usually play with the music turned off anyway--but jebus, the fucking fireworks are driving me crazy. I don't want to turn all sound off cause I need it (mostly for fishing...hee :shock: ), so I've been avoiding Rabao as of late and fishing on the ferry. But whenever I get back to town, there they are. *cry*

*whew* i thought it was only me...........everytime it gets dark im like "noooooooooooo" then that stupid music goes on and the fireworks go off and im like "get me outta here!!!!!!!" but u have no where to go really cuz EVERYWHERE you go they have that music!!! (windy and area, sandy and area, bastok and area.........i even fought in Eastern Altelpa Desert and they had it there!! o_0)
It has got to be one of the most annoying things i've ever encountered in this game.......
 
I don't find the music too bad, but it gets very annoying when the 30 second track repeats itself for the 100th time in 20 minutes. I usually make a run for La Theine or the Highlands when it's about time for it to go.
 
dont get me started on that music :evil:
all my music files suck as bad as it so what can i do?
/sigh and id hate to mute it i really hate playing with no sound
 
SummerFest Music

I love the music. I am sorry but it reminds me of when I first started the game ^^; I get all sentimental. Shoot I even made lyrics to the music as a joke. I personally hope they bring it back this year. Maybe cause I am big on the Fourth of July that I like SummerFest that much.
