This thread and post is reserved for tomorrow night and sunday for when I get and start playing LoZ:TP.

I'll edit it when I start playing it

I just picked up my copy about an hour ago. I love getting shit early. About to pop it in now. I'll let you know ;-)

Heh, I played it most of today, and it is great. Took a bit getting used to, but is so much fun. I'll leave the rest up to you though.

He said he played the game a lot in the day.

Oh, I'm no where near finishing it. Nintendo did well with this one. It is definitely not beatable in a day.

And OoT I could do in about 36 hours if I played straight through. I know my games lol

So?? How is it? Better then a Link to the Past? I THINK NOT! Actually i don't know, i'm not getting mine till christmas.

I'm at the first dungeon, and so far I'm loving the hell out of it. You don't have to flail around or act like you're really swinging a sword, and it's easy as hell to get around.

Some of the controls from OoT and the rest are back, A is your generic contextual "do all" button, Z is lock on; left, right and down on the D-pad are your hot-slotted items. The area before the first dungeon is mostly a tutorial level(go figure) and they do a good job explaining the controls. I haven't played far enough to get into a plot or get the really cool items yet, but so far it's been enjoyable.

I just popped this in briefly, man, not to be a graphics whore but it looks pretty bad. I imagine it's like FFXII though, were at first I thought it looked horrid but after I adjusted to the last gen look, the beauty came through. Component cables are supposed to be impossible to find until late next week which really blows, I might just hook my standard def tv up and play it on that.

Kinda pissed cuz' I haven't finished FFXII yet and I'd like to finish that so I can wholely commit to Zelda, but I can't find a memory card adapter for the PS3 anywhere and I've given my PS2 away ><. Life is not fair.

I know what your saying, I hate starting another game, while I'm in the middle of another game.

is the light world theme anywhere to be found? i love that song to death

Slowpoke.

The fastest non-TAS OoT is about 5:30.

Eh, I still like to enjoy them.

It took me like 6 hours to get past the first dungeon from the start.

And there's like 12 dungeons.

This game is long as hell, wow.

Supposed to be around 70 hours for just the story.

You do realize it's just a port of the Gamecube version, with the motion sensing tacked on. Right?
