oh forgot one last thing, knowing you your going to take a stab at my spelling in the last post, you can go right ahead man, i was speed typing and i dont have time to flame you all day because i dont believe in typing mad flame messages about how bad someone is. You got beef with me.. ok.. and? tell all your little LS friends and all the ppl on yoru friend list to blist me, never pt with me, not like im gonna go slit my wrists. As for that 12 year old remark you made in your first post? only child i see here is one trying to satisfy his masculinity by flaming me about how bad i was that day.. so you dont like me.. your just another player in ffxi, not like i cant find me a nice PLD better hate hold too ^^ later fire, see you in jeuno :D

And I'm sure a speed typer wouldn't have 6 minutes between post (a) and (b). :wink:
On a more serious note...if someone referrs to you as a 12-year old, or childish, or blah blah blah, calling them a c-!ksucker, pussy, pansy etc doesn't exactly prove them wrong, at all. I mean I hear little pre-teen mobster-imitators say crap like that around the elementary schools all the time..
 
your right, maybe im not proving him wrong, i lost my cool when i saw this post and went off and lost my *@&#, but does anyone else see the fact that ppl take this way too seriously? ive had bad parties where i sucked and got booted, ive also had parties that i did an amazing job and the pt lasted around 6 hours with no complaints, all im sayin is that if you have a problem with me say it in /tell or kick me out of your pt, but parading it around a forum board.. come on now.. its a damn game
 
Just put the effort into having a good 6 hour complaintless party, and then have no bad parties where you actually got booted for sucking.

While I would say the best chance is to prove a person wrong through actions, mostly likely they don't wanna take the same boat twice, sortof speak. Then again I'm a packet of hot air myself and usually wind up forgetting people I complained about two days ago..so y'never know who'll give second chances... :roll:
 
As if the great Neche of BoL never had a bad day, I have bad days probably because i dont care much for exp, im usually on msn talking to someone while im pting, yea it makes me distracted but do you really care enough abotu xp to sit there with no distractions? Next time you pick up the phone cuz your woman/man is callin you and you start to suck cuz u wanna chat em up then get flamed for it.. why not sit in the dark and tell eveyrone "GO away im pting" and see how many ppl call you to chill.
 
Ive been sitting here reading this post, shocked at the fact that so many people seem to have a problem with me. Now ive had a smoke (i dont condone smoking in any shape or form) and ive had a chance to let the adrenaline settle and ive calmed my nerves. So with this final post i would like to make an official apoplogy. To all the party memebers who i have "wronged" by doing an unsatisfactory job, I'm sorry if we didnt make 3k xp an hour, and im sorry to the tanks that i did not help hold hate, and i am sorry to firestreak, but i do not disgress from the point that you have become way too serious with hating me. as for marael sorry i dont remember pting with you ever but i apparantly did you wrong too.. SO to finish this off.. I am sorry for being a bad thf, i will try my best to do better, but i will not apologise for immatuirty thrown my way. It amazing how one pt with you fire has made me yoru enemy, you really need to chill if you want friends in ffxi, sorry i aint your bud, easy everyone
 
3k xp an hour is a travesty and anyone involved in these type of parties should quit the game asap, or pick a different job other than PLD..ZING!

Genkaku do you not realize that there are 5 others who have fun getting good xp and not acting like assholes? I don't care if you care, but at least get that through your head.

Saying "It's just a game" is no excuse to have shitty fucking gear and act like a complete asshole to everyone and expect them to shrug it off since "It's just a game"

Now go farm dumbass or stop playing the game.
 
You have to look at it like this...

A thief doesn't require scorpion harness, though it sure as hell helps, but by your level you need to have at least emperor's hairpin, leaping boots and sniper rings to swap in when not doing SATA. No million gil items, but you simply can't get to 75 at any decent speed with the 20k gil shit you buy at the AH. Every one of those items you can easily get yourself as a THF, and the sniper rings all have comparable quest items you can get if you take the fricking time and do the research.

Why do I say these things? I don't want to make you work. It's not like what you do on your saturday afternoons matters a fuck to me. But it's just how the game is designed. It's designed as such that you can't just level level level level level with no money and expect to be of any value. I didn't make the game this way, and if this isn't the game for you, you should quit. You just have to accept that at least at high level, this is a game for serious gamers only.

And think about how the other 5 guys feel about you, who have spend weeks getting all their right gear, and you come in there, as a fucking thief, the best gil making job in the game hands down, and have what.. 100k worth of gear total? No food. And you're lotting on our coffer keys while you're talking on the phone with your girlfriend.

I'm not crying about it. I am just warning others to stay the fuck away from you.
 
Gen... no offense, but if you're too stupid to play a game that focuses so much on firing off a macro with a press of a button, then I doubt you manage much better in life.

How the hell do these complete retards keep passing my Thief in level? I need to quit my job, fry my brain on some lsd, and waste away in front of a monitor to get past fifty?

Actually, I'd be there, but I'm upgrading my 'great' gear to 'pimp' status.
 
It's not just you you you. When you come to a party not even halfway decent, you are also interacting with 5 other people, sometimes more for other events.

This game was designed around interdependence, so if one person sucks, the whole party sucks. FFXI puts focus on teamwork more than anything, so it's not 6 individuals running around hitting the target, it's 6 jobs interwoven together to get a job done. All the jobs use their strengths to cover for eachothers weaknesses. If one person is weak in what is supposed to be their strength, then someone's weakness gets exposed and the whole team system fails.

If you want to play a game where there is much less interdependence then I'd highly recommand not playing FFXi and looking more into WoW. I'm sure WoW is still an ok game, it's directed at a much different audience though. No one is bashing you for having real life friends, but if 5 other people are depending on you, you can't be letting them down either. FFXI if you take it seriously will teach about teamwork through social interaction, but if you don't try you'll just become a magnet for 2k/hr parties where no one could possiblely have fun.

And lotting a coffer key someone else needs, come on now that's just plain old ****ing rude and showing you're inconsiderate to those around you :x [/b]
