Is it just me or does anyone else get really bored and feel like leaving their PT when there isn't consistent Chain 4-5 and at least 10k exp per 2.5-3hr tops?

I just get so bored and frustrated after seeking for hours to get stuck in a PT like this and Im so vocal about it even though I shouldn't... I can't help hold back my opinions. I know it makes me look like a bad person but why put yourself through it if you don't have too.. I have better things to do.
 
Yup same thing happens to me all the time, I usually suck it up and go with the pt until they finish though.
 
I used to be able to do that... but after I had experience with some PT's that make those 3000exp per hour PT's look really really bad.. you just can't settle for less.

In my opinion if your PT cant get 4000exp per hour after Lv60 then you either need to kick some people and find new (because you have a higher level player bringing you down or the PT config is bad although this should of been known BEFORE you invite them) or change locations.

Today I was in a PT with a PLD named Shiutou and it was absolute crap. After 30 mins I said I wanted to leave in 30m because I was gonna fall asleep. Our highest chain was #4 once and 2-3 most the rest of the time. We had 1400exp in 30 mins and I was just frustrated. Anyways I was told to stay until replacement came but no one ever made an effort to find one. So I just started fucking around and helping pull mobs etc since I always had full MP (because not enough mobs for our level as we killed them too quick).. anyways I missed 1 Stun on a Blizzard IV cast by a gob and Shiutou spazes on me (even though I hadn't missed a stun up to then), telling me to do my job properly loloololol.

After about 2hrs of PT'ing here (remember I wanted to leave after 30m) we get chain #4 again and have a chance for #5. So I say I will nuke the shit outta it and I will need COVER from PLD. So the puller pulls a bunny and I start up the nukes when it hits about 80% health. After a couple spells the mob jumps onto me and eats through my stoneskin and blink before the PLD can cast Flash?!?!?! Anyway I cast a few more as I know were starting to run outta time and that Cover is still available. I start casting and call for COVER, with no response. I get whirlwinded and hit several more times before finally biting the dust.

Then Shiutou tells me that he isnt gonna be bothered to move to cover me and I should move behind him to get covered because I was complaining that the EXP sucked and wanted to leave (EVEN THOUGH I FUCKING STAYED TO WAIT FOR REPLACEMENT)... THANKS FOR TELLING ME AFER IM DEAD. Like he couldn't go over this before when I said I would NEED COVER during this fight. I counter by telling him Im leaving and there needs to be teamwork if you wanna PT with me, BLM's cant move while in the middle of casting nukes, time is too precious on #5 to fuck around.

Anyway... fuck you Shiutou... get over yourself.

Yea this post was good to get off my chest, I havent actually had a chance to act like a three year old in awhile.

Also... I suggested some alternate area's to exp in and Shiutou just shot them all down saying a TARU PLD isnt good enough to tank Darters and Spiders... bitch.
 
Yeah, I was in a party in Garliage Citadel. (fall through floor by stairs).
Our puller was a thf/somthing. Had a name that looked like a gil-seller.
"Fytg" or something like that.

1) Rng/nin
2) sam/rng (me)

and we let the thf pull. well ok, no real biggie except the thf was a
real wuss and whiney too.

example:
whiney-bitch: "no beetle in sight" (duh two fuckers here with widescan)
whiney-bitch: "there are bats everywhere and I'm scared of them."
me: "It's ok, we fought bats here last night with no problem. Just pull."
whiney-bitch: "um, well, ok i guess."

fights lots of bats with no problem, but HUGE amount of time between pulls.

so I pull out of turn. we are all rested up and drumming our fingers.
the whiney-bitch is WAITING FOR A BAT TO MOVE BEFORE PULLING THE
BEETLE. omg, they won't link! LOL unless he/she was afraid the bat
would aggro. So I ran forward and shot the beetle pulling it in.

Then sent a /tell to the leader: Soull "hey can we politely switch pullers?
we have a rng/nin and a sam/rng available."

eventually that solved it. but to get to the ultimate point of your thread,
the xp was excruciatingly slow and I was very bored. I didn't leave
because I'm dedicated to get 50 asap. Thanks to all those people who
left me hanging, I have 812 tnl (49) thanks asshats. Partied for 5 hours
and can't stay for 5 more fights so I can level.
 
I usually dont get too bored in a PT. If the XP sucks, Its always my fault anyway. Im usually leader of PT and usually I have at least one or two ppl who know more than me suggest stuff. For some reason I get bored if the XP is too fast and all we are doing is the same thing over and over and over. I usually stop paying attention to a PT fully about half way trhough. I still do everything im suppsed to do, but kind of zone out the PT chat. I chat in LS ALOT so I wont get bored that way.

j/k if you can chat with LS and not get everybody killed then
more power to you.
