Being the godly player that I am.... I know I am laughing too. and those who have partied with me are probably laughing harder... I had a plan, I would level my Thief to 55, get Triple attack and take a break. My nin was level 27...

And then I met the most hard core freak of nature when it came to leveling.... Vindicative, Hellscream, Bradyru, and a WHM, and BLM, later replace by an Awsome WHM named Zalbag.

These guys were animals! A level a night three nights a week. I was the younger person in the group, I believe I was only 52 or something at the time and got to 55 in a couple of days. 4,000-6,000 exp/hr+.

I got to 54, and as we all know from our basic math classes, 54/2 = 27 but in the world of FFXI 55/2 = 27 as well... so I was set for my goal. But these ravinous EXP beasts wanted to chew though monsters and shit out levels! And who was I to argue? Why look a gift horse in the mouth?

So i hit 56 and my little secret was out: I was Gimp. So After that night I went leveled my NIN proper and wen out the following night... Got to 58 rather quickly... And they wanted to go out the next night and go for 60. Fine, I didn't have time to level my sub but I figure I could get to 60 and get Dancing Edge. THey got to 60, I was at 59 and the group as is needed to take a break to level subs, get AF, earn Money etc...

SO I farmed, And got invites...
Got to 60.
Got back to 59 (Fuck you very much Genkai)
Got to 60
Got Dancing Edge and stopped.

My point of this little rant?

Yeah seriously, he has a point. As a 55 drk, I use war sub, which is fully leveled. I use thf sub which is 25 when running around towns, mainly for flee. Leave me(and phraust and any others) alone! ><

your NIN sub is 25 already. Who cares after that... cept for Utsu: ni.... which isn't till your main is 74.

I Don't get it how did you get past the level 55 limit cap?
 
people seem to like to comment on your sub job whenever they can.. maybe it makes them feel superior?

In example. I was leveling DRK with my friend Ellion.. well my DRK is only level 5 and his PLD is level 6, so we decide to go out and level together. We also decide to sub really weird classes... oh yeah... ph43r the DRK/SMN and PLD/BLM. Well after that bit of fun, my ls says they need me in Jueno, so I high tail it to the airship without changing my job. On the ship I meet a tarutaru... who examines me... and then proceeds to continue telling me about my gimp sub even though I keep telling him "I'm just doing it for fun" and "It's not my main job."

Go figure. Maybe he was trying to be helpful... but what those people realize is... we kinda don't want your help. I mean, I'm sure you're fully aware your sub is underleveled and I was fully aware DRK/SMN is, quite possibly, one of the strangest job combos.

but... whatever.
