Was talking to some co-workers at work.. and some lady came in..

She didn't know the name of the item but explained to us that it is s'posed to get you pregnant easier...

What is this stuff called?

I'm no doctor, but I think its called 'sperm.'

Anyway, theres fertilization drugs that make it "easier." Don't understand how they work, but theres those.

But yeah, your doctor can prescribe fertility drugs, which can help your ovaries release more eggs.

so that would be kepted at a place I work at?
over the counter or it HAS to be prescribed by doctor?

It is a prescription medication called Clomid.
 
Fertility drugs aren't really something to mess around with outside of the supervision of a doctor. It's not that they're not safe, but they're a bit more involved than taking some Tylenol. You did her more of a favor by not being able to help.

I was just too lazy at the time to help her... but yeah :)

Me being un-educated did a good thing :P

some folks just don't get it that easy though... there really are uses for these medications, but as advised, through a Dr. Supervision only as they do detailed planning with you. Educate you on how it all works, and down to the very last detail of what temperature you have the best chance of concieving etc...

I really have no idea what they do, all I know is that from working in a pharmacy, there is definitely more to it than popping pills.
 
Another thing you could do is make sure your bird has not
1) Smoked crack
2) Ugly
3)Been snipped
4) A women
 
She probably wanted the kit that helps predict when ovulation occurs so you know the exact right time to have sex in order to get pregnant. It includes a basal themometer and a chart. Those are availalbe OTC.

In that case, I'd rather save my money and just do it every day. Well at least until captain winky implodes.
