Yes, I got my Blackbelt and left Kaizen pretty much the next day. The fact I got what I wanted and left seems to be what everyone feels I did. Screw the Blackbelt. I hardly even feel like playing Final Fantasy any more after these past few days.
I left because of all the drama that came along with endgame. Leadership new this, I told Meast I was thinking of leaving before I even got the damn belt. The Saturday we did ks99 and I got the last item I needed I didn't even know we were doing ks99 at the time. The shell was originally going to do Ouryu leadership changed its mind.
Now as to why I left it was because of a fight I had that same saturday with Hailie. The linkshell had made plans to start events at 6est. Hailie asked if I would brd for her mnk cannon pt before the events and I agreed. She and I both knew that we had events in 1.5 hours yet she still wanted to party.
Turned out Meastoso logged in shortly after and decided that we'd do Divine Might for some ls members an hour before we were ment to start. So me and Hailie started looking for reps. Hailie was a whm and myself a brd, clearly I was the one to have trouble finding a rep. Hailie helped me out. There were no brds or rdm's seeking and I perosnally don't ask people with flags down because I hate to bother people, which is why I havn't formed my own party in a good year.
Anyway, Hailie ended up finding both our reps, but we were already running late. Hailie told me not to worry because if there wern't enough people they'd just cancel DM. The first rep had gotten there and I asked Hailie if she minded if I left early because I really hate being late for events, she said that was fine. So I warped.
This part kinda shocked me because I've known Hailie for years and she's always been so kind to me, but she msg'd me saying that I was selfish and she was glad to finally meet the real me, the one that only thinks of himself. Needless to say I was confused. I left to help our ls with DM which I had already done and got my earring, I failed to see what was selfish about that.
The day progressed and the shell went to do ks99 after we finished DM. Durring the event Hailie had been giving me r1s. Which I normally wouldn't mind if it wasn't for the fact that I was the only one. So I msg'd Kisada because it was clear that Hailie was going to be childish about it and I wanted a mediator.
He responded with this:
Now I was confused about what I was omiting so I /t'd him and asked. This was when I found out that Hailie felt I ditched the party because I was after my Blackbelt. It seemed that was how leadership felt aswell. I find it annoying how they listened to Hailie's story and didn't even ask me what had happened.
After I talked it out with kisada he said it was up to us to work out our problems, fair enough. So I bit my tounge and tried to make up with Hailie. Which for the most part I think we did.
The next day however the events that had taken place were still bothering, so much so that I had lost sleep over it. So it came to a game causing me to lose sleep was not worth my time. I was also offended by my shell for thinking so little of me as to pick my events based on what items I was after.
Please go back and recheck attenance. Because since I've joined I've attended far more then 80% of the ls events and was late for even less. I took pride in being in kaizen and wanted to do my best for the shell. Hailie I'm sorry that I put the linkshell above a random pick up party, thats just my priority.
In the 3-4 months since I've joined Kaizen I've lv'd smn to 75 fully capped its merits and even started spending gil on upgradding my jobs since kisada felt my gear was less then great. People who know me know that xping is the main reason I play this game. I was unable to xp many times due to lack of gil which I was putting into bettering myself for the shell.
If you must know the reason I left it was because of lack of faith the leadership showed me. If it was simply because I got the blackbelt and didn't care anything else but for myself then why did I return the Heralds Giaters to the shell when I quit? Our last pair sold for 80+ mil? That could've kept me going for sometime. Leadership didn't even ask for them back, I offered them back. Looking back I can't see why I tried so hard for a shell that thought so little of me. I'm deeply offended that you all could think so little of me.
I originally wasn't going to post anything here but when old "friends" started mting stuff like "so he got his black belt and quit the next day" to me I felt I had no other choice. Especially when leadership wouldn't even respond to my /t's.
To all those shells out there who have been congradulating me on screwing over kaizen it wasn't my plan. For some odd reason that shell still has my loyalty and I don't plan on joining any other endgame shells. After these events I don't even know if I wish to keep playing this game. To all those people in the shell that get dragged into this I'm sorry, it wasn't my plan.

I was already aware of the events that happened yesterday.
The circumstances which were explained then are somewhat different than what you're explaining to me. I'd say it's not a good idea to omit information if you've got a problem. In fact I really don't appreciate it.
I'll leave that aside for now, you got your black belt item and I'm sure you're happy enough. It's happened, so it's now besides the point.
Addressing the issue you've posed, she does seem upset at you and I would say that it's rightfully so. I'm certain she still feels slighted by your tactless thread on qcdn. Some people don't let things go easily. I don't think you can blame her.
I'm sure she'll let it pass in a couple days, as it usually does for her, but she will remember it and that is up to you to deal with in a mature manner
